I ran with a cyclone all last season and look forward to running it again this season. The shoot cover is very effective with powder white snow. It prevents snow drifts from the blower, especially in windy conditions and significantly increases your visibility when you’re blowing. There were a few storms last year where I ran without the shoot cover because I couldn’t move more than half a foot without clogging. When it’s real wet, it turns into concrete in the shoot. Removing the shoot cover, allowed it to fall on to the blower body, and gave the snow less surface area to bind to.

In high density residential snowblowing, just how far to do you need to throw the snow onto the lawn? So that chute cover probably won't make any noticeable difference in normal operation.

Aim for the middle of the lawn.

I hope they hook you up, spending that much money, and promoting them soo much! I’m sure you’re giving an unbiased review, but still lol

What size tractor would you recommend for a 80" blower.

60HP Hydrostatic compact tractor! Kubota L6060 Nordic Addition is the best!

Do you think a 72" would be ok for a solo guy starting out? Or go with a 80"?

Depends on the model of tractor you are running?
