Its not that they cant exist together its that they both cant have MEODP and be from the same world. We already know Ryougi being in melty bloods world is canon because shes in the manga for a split second but its said she was sent back to wherever she was.

@@nightshrine4257 Nasu, even recently he has still reiterated that both Shiki’s who possess MEODP can not originate from the same world. The only moments they have EVER shared appearances (Melty Blood) it is because Ryougi crossed from another universe into Melty’s (like Mash and Dantes did in Type Lumina).

It's really like a very strong offense ability. On one hand you can one shot anyone with these eyes, on the other hand you have to work for it if you want to one shot stronger people.

It takes a heavy toll on the user the more they go "deeper". Like the more they focus, they can see more lines but it gets more harder to use.

She cant turn them off that just how anime portrays it. Novels makes it clear that she is just unfocusing. She just has better tolerance to it because of her connection to the root but it can still strain her as seen when she first gets them. She just manages to not focus on them and tolerate it(and again her connection to the root)

Even the Banquet of Kings from Fate/Zero looked like a total victory for Iskandar only because ufotable portrayed it wrong (the novel was slightly more nuanced).

It’s honestly unnecesary. The reason they use knifes or katanas is because it favors their fighting styles. Nanaya especially was taught to fight with knives and other assassin-like skills (the Nanaya’s are basically psychic ninjas).

The relative "strength" of the instrument used to attack the lines & points seen by the mystic eyes user is immaterial, as what the user is attacking is not the physical form but rather its very concept/essence, which is the reason the eyes are capable of even destroying things without form as long as the user is able to conceptualize it. Take Shiki vs Fujino for instance, at first Shiki is unable to perceive the attacks from Fujino's Mystic Eyes of Distortion, but after the attack was used against her enough times Shiki was able to conceptualize the attack, describing it as a spiral of red and green and even calling it "beautiful." Once she could "see" the concept of the attack she could "cut" the concept of the attack thereby negating it.

I don't get why people think the weapons are needed. Both Ryougi and Tohno and shown the kill things by just touching the lines/points with their fingers.

@@ThoraeJenkins Heck, the first thing Tohno did when he woke up from the accident was used his finger to “cut” a line, and destroyed a bed in the process. And he even felt that if he just pressed the dot with his finger sonething “bad” would happen.

His durability would be off the roof. As a DA his magical energy also wouldn't be a problem as DA gain Mystery with time and the more blood they consume.. For shirou, he'd gain Mystery much more faster by recording Noble Phantasms and replacing his body parts with them.

I think he could become comparable to a higher ranking dead apostle if he was able to use Roa's knowledge and vampiric body, his mystic eyes, nanaya clan skills maybe even training or direct enhancements/knowledge from arcueid and ciel on top of that would make him a menace But I don't think he would top the charts because he doesn't has "hax" aside from mystic eyes of death perception like a connection to the root or any special authority/mystery

We already know shiki tohno full potential in Talk and prelude as DEATH. in this mini story he killed two Death apostle ancestors, in prelude DAA is Louvre and in talk is Einnashe. In prelude Shiki Tohno as DEATH killed Louvre in matter of second, the poor man didn't even realized that hes dead until he see his body falling apart one by one. In Talk he killed another Death apostle ancestor known as Einnashe, though unfortunately in this one we didn't really see the fight, it happened off screen, we only see the outcome, and in that confirmed that Einnashe is death presumably by DEATH. Thought with a little help from ciel and merem solomon.

They actually made a great sequel to Tsukihime, about Shiki after the story's events. You should go check it out.

That's still king hassan, or his usurper, Tezcalipoca if you want to get a more modern version of the personification of death. There's a major difference between a regular assassin, and a grand assassin.

That's impossible for anyone but the only ones who originally had the MEODP to obtain and suffer the pain it'll give to it's users. Mages, Humans, Etc would literally ripped their own eyes out to feel relieved of the pain it give.

he just uses his glasses and then he wont be doing it. Shiki's brain needs to recognice it for the effects to take place. Even if he is hitting the line while he doesnt see it he wont apply death its a subconscious thing. Otherwise he would be killing everything he touches with his hands as some lines are thick enough to use his finger(ryougi uses her finger to kill a plant when she first gets the eyes for example)

We already see that the more Nanaya use his eyes, the stronger he becomes. In Melty Blood which take places after Tsukihime he was able to kill TATARI which was made from information and rumor without suffering from brain damage.

@@JohnShepherd117interesting, I have been wondering on the matter since the requirements for penetrating karna and siegfried armor is aA+ rank weapons then both shiki's dagger wouldn't do any effect since it isn't at that level but if both had like excalibur or caliburn then that should work the trick right For heracles the main issue here is if they can kill them 1 time with it being 12 times similar to how caliburn killed heracles with 1 swing which consisted of him being killed 7 times.

MEODP killed an infinite space of nothingness, concepts without life or form, someone who merged with True Chaos and linked existences. No mere armor or defense is capable of stopping them, as they kill the "meaning" of the target and actualise the absolute concept of Death itself that stems from Akasha. It immediately triggers the predeterminated time of death that everything in existence has as soon as they are created. It's not physical destruction/damage, but purely conceptual existence erasure. In other words, piercing their point would remove the very concept of "Sieg/Karna/Herc" from existence alongside anything related to it. Not only that, but it draws its "potency" from Akasha itself, the boundless source from which all of creation stems from. They are essentially erased by Akasha itself and brought back to it, as it drains their lifespan to 0. TLDR: The physical substance which the target is made of is completely irrelevant to MEODP as they attack on a conceptual level. And even then, tney are a power that impose the absolute concept of Death sourced from Akasha itself, meaning that even a conceptual defense cannot protect you from it with as absolute concepts are the highest you can go in terms of potency. You'd require something that counters the ability down to its nature. Like Souren Araya's Origin, which makes him a static organism that lacks any form change, which Death count as. Being removed from the cycle of reincarnation (But even that only results into an advanced concept of death that could be bypassed given enough time). Or lacking a concept of Death entirely, meaning that there is nothing for the user to visualize and bring forth. However MBAA implied that Ryougi's MEODP evolved enough that she can instill the concept of Death in beings that lacks it. So even that may not help. Needless to say, Sieg/Karna/Herc have none of that in the first place, as such they would die.

Both of these Shiki's eyes are related to Cu's grandfather, one to use it very effectively without doing much labors work.

they are low superhuman ( they was enhanced by somekind of magic to hunt the demon ) the glasses tohni shiki using possibly was created by true magic , i don't think is there anyone else can create that glasses other way to make them blind also too hard to do, you must using something not from earth or something from higher dimension to make tohno shiki blind and ryougi shiki temporary blind ( she still can see the line of those thing but it will take her a while to able to see it )

I'm certainly itching to know why someone who can move faster than a being that can dodge bullets while being wounded or cut the strongest True Ancestor in 17 pieces before she could react doesn't go beyond human. Especially when it is stated that having your Origin awakened grants the person great powers and Sion noted that Shiki's mind is trascendental and guides his body beyond its limits, even beyond superhuman beings.

why would he have them when is affinity isnt "death" but "swords". He is someone aligned with seeing himself as a blade to be used to save people. Each sword in UBW represeting the number of times he himself would have to die to save someone. He only sees his life as disposable with all the others being of higher value. He is fundamentally incompatible with the mystic eyes of death perception and even if he gotten them he would pull them out due to how repulsive it would be for him.

How it's work it's that, that eyes can only show you the origin of a life, you strike them but it doesn't have the guaranteed death unless you really hit it on the most vital point. Basically the eyes allows you to Crit Strike your opponent. For MEoDP those lines acts as their death when cut. It actualized death.

I believe Shirou has a huge disadvantages against more to assassin's in general in his late teens, he maybe able to stall long enough to Shiki Tohno but both of them are on a time limit at best. I can see Shiki with scratches here and there but nothing fatal aswell to Shirou. Shiki would get the jumped on Shirou, though Shiki would go brain dead after the use of his MEODP.

Nope, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception can bypass intangible, so it completely bypasses Avalon, the healing from Avalon wouldn't even be usable because cutting death lines and points if death results in an instant death

they are still human beings limited by the capabilities of their bodies. There are plenty of superhumans and monsters that make it a massive challenge for them to actually make use of their abilities since they actually have to manage to stab/slice them to make use of their ability. Case in point Tohno vs Vlov is peak example of it and how Shiki needed external help to even be able to win.

@@Dogofwar9 Strong vampires have telepathy so that's not really a problem for Tohno when he's kill-mode. The best option would simply be to long range AOE them or be super bullshit since challenging them directly in close range is foolish. We see in MB that even Arc wouldn't do such a thing against a wildcard like Shiki. But Tohno does show some ranged application in Remake so they're very versatile. The very best defense would be to not have a death that's easily visible but even that seems to have workarounds.

@@Dogofwar9 I just said AoE so as to more easily 'hit' them with like a stray attack. Though I'm not sure that would work since as we see in Tsukihime when Shiki kills something it loses all meaning such as momentum and such. The eyes can kill anything the user perceives as alive which includes basically everything you can think of so it is very versatile. So it really just comes down to what the author wants to write.

Either of the Shikis are infinitely faster than canon Goku (Can speedblitz characters that can process a reality consisting of layers each having a cosmos in it in a nanosecond) and MEODP does not care about his physical durability since it erases the very concept/meaning of an individual. Not sure if they are faster than TOEI Goku though since he seems to have speed on a vaguely similar tier. Void Shiki blinks composite DB with a thought.
