A correction: in FGO, it's still basically the main fate timeline until the 3rd HGW. Unlike the fsn timeline, the Einzberns didn't summon Angra Mainyu, which would have lead to the grail being corrupted. Because the Grail wasn't corrupted, this lead to Marrisbilly to participate in the 5th HGW, leading to the creation of Chaldeas. In Lord El-melloi Casefiles, which takes place in the fsn timeline, young Olga had implied that her dad could sense the corruption in the Grail, hence he didn't join the 5th Grail war. Basically, Einzberns ruin things, as always.

@@mthlily I played the Fate/Zero event in FGO and it stated that there was only one Grail War in the FGO timeline and both timelines had drastically different versions of the Grail War.

They helped create the Holy Grail ritual as supervisors of the land, and Zelretch gave them hints about how to create his sword since he found its heir Nagato a good person despite the bloodline having low potential. There are hints that Rin and Luvia are cousins; modern Tohsaka became specialists in jewel Magecraft and the Scandalivian Gandr curse, which is the same specialization of the Edefelt family, and Rin said that she is 1/4th foreign. So it seems likely that one of the Edefelt sisters who participated in the Third HGW before disappearing married into the Tohsaka family.
