One difference in the rear turn signal lights is the Touring has a fuller lights that goes longer into the middle part past the trunk while the Sport L’s light only at the main corner lights
Great review of two awesome trims of the Accord Hybrid. Personally think the EX-L and Touring trims are the best 2 trims to choose from. I opted for the 2024 Accord Hybrid Touring.
So, as I understood, in order to allow your passenger(s) in the back to charge cell phone(s) you have to buy Touring trim only! How foolish is that? This is a shame for Honda.
Good jod noting the differences. I am trying to decide exp or touring. I really would like the touring with the exl wheels so i could get the better gas mileage.
Very helpful seeing the comparisons in real cars. I think the Touring is worth the added $5K for the sensors, sound system, ventilated seats, self-dimming rearview mirror, and rain sensor windshield wipers.
We just got our first 2024 Accord EX last weekend sticker price at 31K but got it for only 28K didn’t even negotiate the sell person just asked us how much we wanted to pay monthly that all and the deal are done 😀
@@VagabondBuilds the audio in the touring makes a difference to me. i bought a crv hybrid sport touring because of the audio because good music is my life.
Excellent comparison and explanation. Tks. For me,personally, the Sport-L at 5k less would be the better choice.I'm awaiting arrival of Civic hybrid this summer. Love my '15 Mazda3 Sport but ready to go hybrid.Tks again for comparison.Rick/Seattle
I brought the 2024 Honda Accord Touring & it’s worth every penny. It’s worth paying the extra $5K to have the extra bells & whistles in it. I had the 10th Gen Sport & it was great but this is so much better. It’s smoother & takes bumps so much better than my last Accord and the Bose Sound System is great. It’s a great car that i easily recommend to anyone in the market for a Sedan.
Or you can do what I did and for 7000 extra drive a Acura TLX with a tech package. Much cooler styling and power and with just enough bells and whistles and no worries about hybrid components
Man someone destroyed the shit out of those rims on the hybrid sport L...I actually own the Sport-L and i decided against the touring...it just did not seem worth the difference in cost.
The one thing that bothers me about the interior of the touring is the roof not coming in black. Having the beige is throwing me off and making me want to just go for the sport. It’s ruining the interior tbh.
My preference would be silver do to it being a very low maintenance color with regards to scratches dirt and so fourth. My other choice would be white, a bit more rich looking also fairly still low maintenance.
Thank you for the compliment. I would go either silver or white. Silver because of the lowest maintenance color, whit because it’s still fairly low maintenance but also a bit more rich looking. They also look the best on these bodies.
Is it possible to add Google-maps/Navigation to the EX-L trim? 17" wheels are much more practical, lighter, less prone to bends/tire damage than the 19"s that the Touring comes with.17" wheels and tires => may lead to better accel./fuel econ, less road noise, more comfortable/less bumpy ride, etc...
@@VagabondBuilds yes, very good, thank you; to the point, pointing out every difference. ex-L vs sport-l vs touring maybe also more comprehensive overview, and for example what kind of options/features that is on Touring trim can be added to ex-L or the Sport trims will be very helpful add-on review. ~$5K difference is significant, so people may go for ex-l or the sport but personally I'd go for ex-l and try to add few things that is standard on the touring trim. (Such as google maps/nav feature? higher end audio? ) Great to know what features can be added to ex-l / sport... 19" wheel+set is a bad idea. I know lots of people losing tires/wheels and downsizing to 18s or 17s by buying aftermarket wheels.
Be advised this car does not come with a Spare Tire or jack. Just an Air pump. The latest news is that Honda parts department now has a Spare Tire kit for about $500 + Tax.
This is true, but new Hondas come with free roadside assistance for the duration of the Honda warranty. So use that pump to get to your destination, then call roadside for a replacement tire.
@@MaL_KL I am hyper aware of what the pumps can and cannot do. If you get a cut or puncture in the sidewall the air will leak out as fast as you try to pump it in. If this happens in an inconvenient place or at an odd time, your aren't going anywhere. I had a 2009 CTS that had no spare but had a can of shaving cream. I was entering the driveway of a small shopping center and managed to run over a small piece of metal sticking up from the ramp. It punched a hole in the side of the tire and the shaving cream just squirted out. I called for road service at 8:30 in the morning and no rescue truck showed up until 4PM. The truck lifted up the front of the car and towed me to a tire store. The new tire cost $350. When I drove away from the tire store I found out the transmission had been damaged by the tow truck. It cost me $3,000 to fix the transmission. If I had a spare this all could have been avoided. And NO, the pump will not get you to your destination.
That & no Home-Link mirror, no XM Satellite radio & the vented seats just don't work with a crap. All noted on my recent test drive of the Touring. Almost 40k & they're decontenting stuff hoping you won't notice.
realistically I would never invest in an lx or ex, I would go for the exl atleast, and if you cannot afford it from this gen/year just go for the 10th gen. But I would never invest in an lx or ex
Lights go into trunk lid on Touring 6:40 We get crap cloth seats just like the EX in the Sport in Canada, you get leather 9:18 So, Leather and Bose, not to mention all the other goodies here in Ontario, Canada for an extra $1,538.50 is a no brainer The MSRP for the Touring is $46,916.50, but Dealers are selling the Touring for $45,000. and Sport for the MSRP of $43,461.50 They might as well discontinue the Sport as why would anyone buy one?
