Different colour analysis systems?You may get different results, it's not about in person vs virtual 

It can be a pretty intense emotional experience if you have been hiding behind the wrong colors, intentionally or not, and finally really see yourself for the first time.

I was typed Autumn at beauty training as a teenager. Fast forward to Carol typing me Cool Summer last year. I get compliments now on looking healthy. It's been incredible.

Aww, love yourselves warts and all guys. I almost like seeing people with imperfections because the media shows women looking like clones of each other. It’s nice to see a wrinkle here and there, an interesting nose, etc. I’ve always preferred seeing other ethnicities wear their natural hair texture and clothes from their culture. Variety gives life its flavor.

I do think that wearing your colors in your system is going against the flow. That gave me a lot to think about. Thanks, it’s so refreshing to see someone with so much understanding and wisdom about how colors can influence us as people.

She looks great with brown hair! We see her. I have been trying to drape colors on myself to find my color season. I thought I was cool, but when I really look at my colors and after draping a lot and teaching myself to see the effects on my skin and harmony/balance, I am sure I’m warm, but still very neutral. I can see cool colors make my skin reddish and dull my appearance while too warm colors make my skin sallow. I look better in clear than soft colors but too bright is overpowering. My worst colors are soft colors both cool and warm. Soft pink and mustard for example are some of my worst. I don’t have enough contrast for bright spring and I’m not light enough for light spring. My eye color is a very light yellow green or grey green depending on the lighting, with some teal streaks and brown streaks in the pattern around the pupil and a dark olive iris ring. My natural hair color is a medium brown that turns a little golden in the sun. Is it possible to be a true season even if you are very neutral in temperature? Too warm colors make me sallow or dull or are overwhelming or disappear. They are either too strong or too weak for the vibrancy of my skin. Same with too cool colors both soft and vibrant colors are bad. I can only wear colors that are very neutral in temperature. If they aren’t too soft they usually look good.

She was "generic blonde girl" in the first picture. I'm compelled to pay attention to her in the second picture.

So many people do use color to hide.

Interestingly she looks much younger with her hair darker.

Love this video. I was draped in person and it was all about skin clarity. It didn't do harmony or overwhelm checks. I saw the magic that Winter did to my skin alone! However, in your system, I am a Summer due to harmony and overwhelm checks and I also see the magic on me in that as well. :) I had an emotional experience with both results! And I still wonder which result is the true one but like you said, neither is right or wrong, just a different way, a different system.

I've found some people can look very similar but turn out to be different color types. We all love the stereo typical color types but for many, one person may not be bad in one but something else is better. Hair color jobs can throw things off.

Yes, the True Spring result is definitely inferior to the True Summer result. How different can the systems be?! Her beauty explodes in the True Summer.

Surely virtual analysis is dependent on the accuracy of the photos provided. I've noticed big differences in my apparent colouring depending on whether I stand near a north facing window or a south facing window, under a skylight or 3 feet away from a window vs 10ft away from a window as well as differences outside in sun vs shade. The selfie side of my phone camera desaturates colours and the other side exaggerates details and thus brings out more shadows and highlights. How does one know which is the most accurate or closest to reality for doing a colour analysis?

Is your natural hair color always the best color for you? If so, is it possible to have reddish highlights naturally and green-hazel eyes and be a winter? I once got typed as a spring years ago then I got cool winter recently and now I’m obsessed with a) knowing the truth but b) switching all my clothes to the winter cool palette.
