Glad to see another chiropractor out there, specifically gonstead too, that thinks the same as I have been while progressing through school and approaching graduation. The dichotomy is so frustrating when we all just want to help the patients get better. Hoping to find more like minded chiros like you to work for
I love your info. I’m learning not all chiropractors are created equal after a yr of trying to heal. I’m miserable and I’ve spent so much money on so many different ones. I’m desperate to find the issue and no one seems to fix me. 😢
I am an example of the necessity of x ray. My chiropractor, who practices Gonstead, of course x-rayed my spine and found that I have bone spurs from my upper thoracic to my upper lumbar spine. He told me he would not have known it without the x-ray and further that he would not adjust those areas of my spine because it could lead to breaking my back. From that conversation, I assume had I gone to a chiro who does not x-ray, theoretically I could have come away with a broken back.
I think that it is of utmost importance to educate our patients on what IS NOT Chiropractic (i.e. therapies, extremities, and ridiculous videos on social media). Let us focus on detecting and correcting vertebral subluxations the most specifically we can to allow the innate ability of health to be restored in our patients.
Not sure I understand your comment… yes -subluxation is important… are you saying that educating the public about the variances that they will see out in the profession is NOT helpful? I would agree that things such as the Y-strap, girls with cleavage getting grossly manipulated with a microphone close by to pick up the sounds… those style of videos are the “ridiculous videos on social media”. Complete chiropractic care is HUGE! Addressing segment, posture and movement.
Hi, thank you for sharing your great contents! I subed and will share with friends … I do need your help to get in touch with Dr Ian Rossborough, please…
