I really hate this topic, the worst thing about C4. Makes the integration look easy, I think. Thanks for the help! :) (The morning before the exam! haha)

Nothing like a little revision before an exam. Anyway, good luck.

ExamSolutions I actually got this topic's question. It was easy. Unfortunately, there was a 9 mark integration question which I struggled with. I'd say there is many who would argue that's the hardest paper yet. Edexcel are stepping up the level. You'll have fun working through that! Thanks for all your help over the past two years, it has really helped. Hopefully I won't have to do them again! Fingers crossed.

@@rimboruler I think you'd find Edexcel started "stepping up the level" with the new 2017 specification ahaha

Hi I was a little surprised that we are expected to know the formula to work out the surface area and volume of a sphere. What other formula for working out SA and volume would you recommend that we learn?

If dv/dt is steady, is the rate of change of area and the radius steady as well? A response would be greatly appreciated.

@EvilnessInMe I am confused with your question. The Volume of a sphere is (4/3)pi r^3 and the surface area is 4 pi r^2

Is that the SURFACE area of a sphere is 4(pi)r^3? Can you get the actual area of a sphere, or is it just surface area or volume? The vids really great, I've been stuck on this for a while!

what kind of shapes would come up in a c4 paper. Do we have to remember the surface area and volume for every shape?

This becomes a whole new beast with the Covid pandemic. We not talking about the number of cases right now in terms of growth. Or the 'increase' in the number of cases. We're trying to reduce the 'rate of increase' of cases. The curve. A number which is in positive territory.

at first i didnt think you could flip dv/dr like a fraction because dv/dr is essentially not a fraction? it all made perfect sense.. i just didnt think you could manipulate values like that
