They are STILL chill like dat in my book. I’m glad to have experienced them when they first surfaced.

This group had something very unique and special as a unit. Gave us 2 perfect albums that will never die to those who understand what they were doing.

I'm 45 and these guys were the jam and still are. Their flow and style will never die!

Digable Planets is the best the genre of Hip Hop has produce. They are everything in one Omega and Alpha. It was the event Horizon of Hip Hop nobody has created a hip hop band the way the Planets did. Just caught both their shows this weekend at the Novo in L.A and Observatory in OC. Waited a lifetime and they did not disappoint. They are to RAP what Key is to Lock!

But for real. growing up a snotty nosed shorty in the projects of Chicago I was FORCED to love Digable Planet because that's ALL my aunt would play. She was one of the few chicks who'd be out on the benches with a boombox! lol Shout out to the old school BK massive...peace to the middle east.

i respect the rap game and everyone that came up in it but Digables came with a completely new level of craftsmanship...and the way they fused their whole sound together...pure genuis!!!

You can tell they have a balanced life just by seeing how well they aged (some young today artist look so damaged by their fame hope they get better when they got out)

It's interesting how all three of them have a very similar demeanor. And they've been like that since day one. Truly genuine gifts and talents at work here. 2:10 a special moment is captured. Ladybug hands Butterfly a flower and some herbs. Butter sniffs it and is surprisingly delighted. He then hands it off to Doddlebug and he takes a whiff and smiles. Their simple actions is exactly how we felt upon inhaling Digable Planets back in 1992.
