One of the highlights of these programmes, is the camaraderie and respect that all of the competitors show each other. I've never seen anything from the series when any of the competitors were anything other than really nice people, which says a lot about the current community. To see it mean so much to her to win, and for her competitor to compliment her like that was amazing.

Yall just made that young lady's whole world right there...I'm so happy for her cause she's came along ways since I've been watching her making some mighty fine looking liquors....

I'd love to see what those 2 can create together. His words that he'd work with her and teach her everything that he knows are amazing. Finding a gifted apprentice to pass on your knowledge in todays world can be a challenge and finding a real mentor can be even more challenging.

I honestly think the 2 of them together would be a powerhouse of distilling

Frank's method is kinda like electrodyalysis reversal. Pulls charged ions to the electrodes.

Love this show My dad was a runner back in prohibition days. He never shared anything about making moonshine. Lost him in 1990 Miss you dad.

That right there is exactly how a competition between two people is supposed to go, male vs female had no effect in it at all.

i love to see people thrive where most wouldn't even expect them to be in the first place.

Honestly, that is one of the heartwarming things about the show. The fact that they are willing to learn from each other in order to accomplish great things. You can feel the respect from everyone in that room. Good on her!

Thats sportsmanship is straight Texas hospitality. Giving respect where respect is due. 2 amazing competitors and the best product won congrats to both fighters

Is anyone else a little concerned that using copper electrodes could cause that pecan brandy to have toxic levels of copper ions? Not that I’m really convinced it was doing anything because there was no visible hydrolysis happening.

I am bemused by the fact that the competitor and the judges treated her with far more respect than the posters here who claim her likely having ovaries gave her the win. Woke viewers do no watch shows like this, this is not Bake off, and the production company knows that.

What does electrolysis actually achieve here? I don't want to talk down Swamp Wizard here, but I didn't see any residue in the jar or on the electrodes. Maybe up the proof? Maybe impact the tannins from the nuts?
