@0:45 they got the RONA and after this episode everyone at tgat filming got it too... i have had it two times once in jan 2020 and again last month two weeks before the kids went back to school we all got it then... but that first round with covid almost killed me, it took 6 family members including my grandparents who raised me and my cousin, i think we took it harder than their own kids did.... Got some great family across WV, TN and some buddies in GA, but the only people I’ve learned about shining from are in NC. Good times have been spent around a fire

I was born in the mountains, (mom, dad, and I are all full bred hillbilly’s. My little brother and sister where born in Michigan. They’re not hillbilly’s, but have the smoky mountain blood in em) and my parents moved us to Michigan when I was 7-8 years old. We made snow cream all the time during winter. Wonderful, cheap, and delicious! That was 50 years ago. Thanks for that great memory! Live in Australia now (married a Aussie gal) haven’t seen snow in nearly 20 years.
