It’s kind a like playing Tetris with concrete walls! Except… you have fit them in where their shape fills the landscape. When you were spreading with the dozer I could watch the moisture evaporate from the soil. By the time you backed up and spread the next layer, the previous one had already lightened up remarkably. Typical summer day in the Ozarks! Glad you got to take a little vacation. We’re heading to Florida Monday night. I’ll call you you and see if we can work something out on the logs.
That’s for sure! lol yeah it’s bone dry now after all that rain. Have a good trip and that sounds good I’ll be back over there in a few weeks to backfill some we can get the logs then
With 8 or 9ft concrete walls, may as well have a BASEMENT (unless ?) Our town would NEVER allow a 5 car garage on ONE site nor any 10ft doors - they smell COMMERCIAL and homes go low 500K to well over a million. Lots of *DECISIONS & PLANNING* especially on this one but you'll get it done! No one did your work in your absence - *SO*
Yeah they should just put a basement in. This is going to be a $2.5 million dollar most of the houses in this subdivision have 5-6 car garages. It’s crazy lol
Welcome back from vacation Brandon. Hope y’all had a good time. Even when you’re “ruffing in”, your jobs always look neat, clean and organized. Keep up the great work. Thanks for the video.
The garage is bigger than my whole house! I remember before you had the dozer you were wondering how much you would uses ut but it looks like you have made it worth keeping for those grading jobs. At least you always have work to do!
Good to see you back and all fired up - and first thing you know, nobody knows what's what so you have to go into guessing game routine. But at least you got brought up to date and got things squared away pretty good. BTW, we always enjoy listening to your thoughts on the job - it helps us understand what will be happening. I still can't get over the difference in height of the lot from one end to the other. Lots of dirt movin', for sure.
I am blown away at your skill. You make it look so easy. Not just the machine operation, but your understanding of what needs to be done even though the owner does not really understand the full scope of what is the best way to get the job done. That's my opinion and maybe I'm wrong about the homeowner.
Well thank you I really appreciate that! I definitely feel like there is an order or system in the way things need done. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Glad to see you decided to come back from vacation. This project has started out really smooth and well laid out so far. You may have to do a little more hand holding as you go along.
I hope you had a great vacation... looks like you made good progress diggin out the crawlspace... its always impressive to see how much you can get done... thanks for sharing👍
So I guess the builder isn’t going with your suggestion? Too complicated for me to understand but I love watching you create the space. Thanks for cleaning the window too. 😊
Nice work Brandon, you make that Komatsu blade look like it’s floating across the top of the dirt! Glad you get everybody together to come up with one plan…smart man!!
