Glad to see a new post. Missed seeing Cody, Blue and you. It makes me smile watching them tugging on a stick. They have so much fun together. Thanks for including them in your vids. I had my doubts when you first showed where you were going to cut the new driveway. It turned out great. That loose rock was a blessing. Like your new machine. Great video production work.
Isn’t it funny how hard it is sometimes to explain what you are doing to someone else . It’s all so logical to you but it was nice to see him being in awe and getting the picture as you progressed . The first time I saw your channel was years ago and you were putting in a long drive to the site where they were going to build a house . I was so impressed with how you were such a one man crew to the point you had to keep jumping out of one machine to another . Laying down the black plastic sheeting then having to go and get your gravel then lay it . You hadn’t built your house but you had a plan and you knew how to achieve it so I just watched you job after job and this video feels like I’m reminiscing but with a bigger mean machine. X
Ha - that was my very first Camarata video. I remember thinking "why am I watching this?". But then the music kicked in and I was glued until the end. From then on I didn't miss a new installment!
Andrew, if I may say so, I like the way you save all the decent logs from the fire on the other jobs and not just chuck good firewood onto the fire Willy nilly like some of them do. Waste not want not as my mum used to say. All the best from UK.
It was hard to tell the difference at first, but that last drone shot really gives you a clear view of how much softer the slope is vs the old drive. Nice work as always, Andrew. Great new machine too!
That's a nice excavator. As an excavator owner for 2 years for my personal use, I must say there is a huge different in knowing how to operate one and knowing what to do with it. I would have started at the bottom and worked up. That shows how much I don't know about how to do certain things. Watching Andrew is how to learn such.
It made me laugh . It looked like the guy was just dropping off a pizza or something since we didn’t hear any conversation between them it all looked so nonchalant and just cool.
Andrew, having watched all your videos over the last few months since i discovered your channel. it is amazing to see how much you have leveled up your operators skills in the last couple of years. You really make this look easy
Congratulations on the new excavator Andrew I have to say your video editing skills are top notch like no other on RU-vid. You have sure come a long way I have been watching from the beginning and always look forward to seeing your videos I hope they come more frequently now that springtime is here.
@@royreynolds108 I wish our rock where I live was like that. Nothing short of blasting will move solid bedrock here in Muskoka Ontario. Mostly ancient granite.
It's compacted sediment from an ancient ocean that now exists on high places like here in the Catskill mountains. Climate change is real. It's been happening since the dawn of time. Man-made climate change, however, is a hoax perpetrated by Marxists to take over the world's economies... "you will own nothing and be happy"
What the flintstones used to print their newspapers on with the birds beak every morning. Slate. In this case shale. Slate is inferior though a type of shale.
Looks good. Sure looks like a less aggressive of an angle going up. Definitely going to need some gravel up on the top part to counteract any mud, but all in all, looks good.
Andrew not many operators could visualize a driveway going up a small mountain but you confidently can. Quite impressive you eyeballed the entire dig....great video and I like that you're buying newer machines. None of my business but I hope you sell off your older equipment you don't use anymore. Great video!!
Thank you for another cool video, Andrew. Yes, I know what it's like where you are- I'm just down the Thruway a few miles, Exit 31. I used to drive out to the Hudson valley area sometimes for my route. Capital region, Southern Tier, Tri-State area. All this area was under an enormously deep prehistoric ocean. The Finger Lakes are scars of the ice retreating. Near me is a Village named Waterville, NY. Fossils of Bivalves, Trilobites, etc. Sedimentary rock (shale) is miserable stuff. It's not "real dirt" when you think about it. Might as well try to plant a garden in the Great Salt Lake bed. I admire your effort, the content and production are spot on as usual. I really enjoy long, thoughtfully produced videos about something I'm interested in.
Its hard to explain just why it is so satisfying to watch this kind of work being done, since Adam makes it look so easy, maybe we men, or women, feel that we might accomplish the same thing with the right equipment. After watching Adam fight with tree stumps all those years with smaller excavators, its awesome to see mighty Hercules Hyundai come thru and knock them over like so many toothpicks.
Great engineering and excavation job Andrew. You made short work of a big job and entertaining to boot! Already looking forward to your next great adventure. Good luck to you and the boys!
Once again, awesome video. I must tell you Andrew, you made my bucket list young man, I would like to just shake your hand. One day I hope to do just that. Keep up the great work and I can already see your property in 5 years, absolutely amazing. Like to know how you planned it all, and it doesn’t just stop there. ❤ you man…
Congratulations on your new acquisition! You will thoroughly be happy with the 235 with its power and breakout Force I'm not sure if it says fuel efficient as a smaller model like the 220 however it sure is a game-changer with time
To be honest the entire Hyundai range seem to be comparable for fuel economy with the opposition, the added bonus is that they also box way above thier weight, for example the Hyundai 210 has more brute strength than a Volvo 220.
Those 235's LCR are brilliant..we have 2 on a macadamia plantation in northern mozambique. Brilliant for working in tight inter row spaces. They quickly became favourites between the operators. 25% more fuel efficient than the cats too...Hitachi excavators still run circles around everything else though. Great video Andrew.
Awesome work on the new driveway for the owner. Love seeing the dogs out there playing while you work. Congratulations on getting you a new toy to play with and uses with work😊
I love that Andrew would rather sit on footage for a year and a half and release it when he’s done with a project rather than be like a typical RU-vid or that has to turn every project into the 16 part video series and talk and talk and talk
Now you got a nice machine! I call it a extremely good deal.. looks like lots of power and for a zero turn seems very stable. Now you gotta get something to haul it around lol. Great video buddy!
Andrew, fantastic 5 🌟 job and absolutely enjoyed seeing this new to you machine working and not breaking down. As always God bless yah from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯
thank you Andrew , i hope to watch more and more as well as re-wach as im happy to do! Congratulations with the new Hyundai excavator! It will of course pay for itself! I hope to see a dedicated museum area of Camerata vehicles with a short history on a plaque vidoe! Let them rust away in the knowledge they took you to where you are today and afforded you great memories! Love your work!
It's amazing how you can rough out a driveway like that in a relatively short time. I think the homeowner is going to want to put some gravel on the new portion of the driveway. Otherwise, it will be a mess after a rain or when the snow melts. Nice work, Andrew!
A ditch on the uphill side is needed still, as well as a culvert at the bottom. This will prevent water running onto, and across the driveway in storms.
Another great video! Andrew, I have to compliment you on the volume control of the music. So many channels practically blast you out of your chair when they add music, & you constantly have to adjust the volume between the music and dialogue. Your videos are so enjoyable and interesting to watch.
I also really like the he zero tail swing. One less thing to worry about when in a tight spot !! You sure knocked out that driveway in double-quick time !!
Nothing broke, i thought i was on the wrong channel there for a minute. great job. What a beast of a tool. watching those two wrestle over the same stick has kinda caught on for them. Nice driveway. kinda ol school Andrew. Thanks for sharing
Extremely beneficial to see the measuring scale. Observing the vision come to fruition. Nice having the natural bedding materials scratched out in process.
Haven’t watched Andrew for a while and am glad that you finally purched a new excavator to do your work ! Glad to see that less break downs and more production ! Congratulations to see you move up in your business ventures to do more and better work !
Another great video sir, thanks for bringing us along on this project. Love how you positioned the slabs of rock rather than just pushing them off or over the hillsides. Wishing you and your furry duo another great week, gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings. Peace brother
I know Andrew has many, many hrs operating, my friend you make it look so easy... I appreciate the drone use as a measuring tool...always be open to new ideas...
It seems like it was just yesterday when I watched some of your very first podcast. You've come a long way pilgrim and I must have missed a video or two because I see you've got a new acquisition which looks like it's a 235 and it handled those nice address stones or guard rails quite well! Thanks bunches for bringing us on your journey
Dear Mr. Camarata. 👍👌👏 Well done again. 2) The relatively new big and strong excavator is obviously capable of even handling really big/heavy rocks. Very impressive. 3) I absolutely love your dogs, especially Blue. 💚💚 Obviously each time only one wood stick = the same, is interesting enough, that it's worth fighting for. Although the forest is full of sticks. 😁😁 Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved life forms (humans and dogs).
Andrew, with the amount of major earthworks you do at elevation on some serious land and the use of drones have you heard of DJI RTK and also the benefits of topographical surveying and 3D mapping for work just like you are doing here. Great Video
Been on jobs with 10 guys on a similar project. Most just leaned on shovels and "mombacked" all day....The boss never pulled the phone from his ear and pointed his finger alot....while the customer kept checking out the six figure dually. Here we have just Andrew......wow!
Andrew's excavating videos are about the only ones I will watch on YT because he throws the video into high speed with good music for background and only slows it down for the important parts. Most of the other RU-vidrs don't do that and instead they drone on and on in their long videos telling this story and that story and what should be a short video turns into a long one. Good job, Andrew, on both the new driveway and the way you do your videos.
