I'm very happy you did not stop making mechanical videos. Don't pay attention to the nitpickers just do your thing. I really enjoyed the MD and all the other Farmalls mechanical videos you did.
I really enjoyed this. Haven’t done valve adjustments in over 50 years. When I left the farm in 1970, I started working on turbine engines in the Air Force.
I liked when Pete first pulled out the tractor and he'd forgotten the manure spreader was still attached! Seems like something I would do and I appreciated that he didn't edit that out of real life.
I always enjoy your videos. From chores to restoration to just educational or informative. There is always something to learn on your channel. I enjoy seeing the tractor restoration projects. I also like that you have an almost museum of the tractors you have moved up to on your farm. You didn't get rid of one to get another and you still use them from time to time. You are truly an inspiration to anyone that wants to get something from your videos.
Love the tractor work Pete! Great to see these type of mechanics being done, they're the type of thing that people would perhaps feel confident to try themselves and an essential part of having machinery
Pete you allways do a wonderful job on all your videos allways something different something new from across the pond in Great Britain good luct with the tractor will be watching for the finished product good luck Pete
Thank you Pete for allowing us to see inside the real life of things on the farm. Things don't always go right and I've heard it said, "every 20 minute job is 1 broken bolt away from becoming a 3 day ordeal". We never seem to get what we want done, so if anything get something done and be happy. Really appreciate the videos and thank you!
My grand paw had a farm all cub A tractor when I was a little boy and he learned me how to operate it I’m 65 years old and sir I’ll never forget that time we spent togather loved that grandpaw I had and shore miss him
Oh ho listing to that 756’s D-310 run without the muffler was such a nice throw back and memory bringer up of the straight piped IH 686 my great uncle had
Hey, Pete! No apology is necessary. What I like is the variety, the familiarity, the normalcy, the humour, the mechanical details, the surprises ... planned and unplanned. It's like hangin' out with a friend. The only thing anywhere near negative is I can almost smell the BBQ and taste whats cookin' but still get real hungry. The pork belly roast I can drool about. Keep it up, Bud.
Hi Pete, I'm just a city slicker from a city in Canada and I enjoy all your videos be it mechanical, the animals or the farmers market. You're like what Bob Ross was to art you are to farming. Your videos allow me to escape and to just imagine another life for 15 or so minutes. Thank you!
I like your channel it is entertaining and has variety. Farming is not just feeding animals. It has upkeep and repairs. Keep them coming I enjoy them very much. Brings me back to my childhood.
It was so funny to watch my wife when you faded out for the first time. All she said was (really). We love watching your videos together and want to say thank you for being so pure at heart. Keep up the great videos and together we will make the world a better place.
Another great video Pete. It appears to me that you and Hillary are the kind of folks that everyone would like to have as a neighbor! Keep up the good work.
Thats life, tractors and Weber's...the video was great, and life is like a box of chocolates. You portray life just right, love watching. Have a good day.
Your gentle integrity is why your channel continues to thrive, Pete!!! There were many times, on our family farm in Minnesota, when Dad had to go with the flow in making repairs or getting a crop in before a rainstorm. A quarter of a million of us love you and your dear family and look forward to WHATEVER you have to share with us!!! ;o)
Pete do you not like or want to work on the tractor in the barn while it's raining? You've got the cows to keep you company. Thanks for inviting us into your day. Cheers. Vancouver, Canada
I enjoy the mechanical videos as well. Fun to see the old Farmalls. My take is anyone who complains abut the mechanical videos needs to spend more time on a farm! On my farm I spend a good deal of time with maintenance and repairs on equipment. Farm a little, fix a little!
Growing up on a south central Minnesota farm my dad never had the luxury of manuals. If it needed work the local dealer would bring a tractor to use while repairs were being done. That was a great service. When I started working on tractors for restoration I would get the best possible manuals. IH of course. Jensales was started real close to where I grew up. My dad went to school with founder. They save a lot of time. Of course, the internet is also very good. Pete always puts enough information to help with repairs. That is always great. He is methodical and never seems to get upset. Thanks Pete.
Part of being a farmer is you need the know how to fix everything you have. Pete your one good mechanic. I Can't wait to see the 576 looking new again. I know you'll end up doing it, sooner then later. (This coming winter)
Hi Pete, I never get tired of watching your channel. I'm looking forward to restoring my 1942 Ford 2N in about a year after I save up the money. I learned a lot watching you and saw every video on the MD. That care and keep the videos coming!
I think I told you already, but my old buddy from Iowa used to square dance with red Farmall Tractors. I mean these tractors were completely gone through, looking better than new. It was amazing watching these guys and gals driving their immaculate Farmall Tractors just barely missing each other. All on a very small piece of concrete.
Life is just life , you go with the flow and make the best of it ! We will be happier for it ! It sure helps to have a cooperative wife also !!! Thank You for your videos !!! GOD BLESS Y'ALL !!!
Ah, now i know where the gasket is when someone says.. she blew a gasket over that! Your mastery of pieces and parts of the mechanical engine is the entertainment part for mechanical me. How it works is the magic.
Please continue the maintenance on the next video! I pretty much have to do everything you've laid out on my new 560 but it's far easier watching you work on yours!
Mechanicals and cooking. What could be better? You really know how to live the good life Pete! Thanks for your great entertaining and educational videos.
The new Tractor is a welcome challenge that's just waiting for a going over. Spring's in the air. The tractor will soon have Pete's touch of rebuild as nature makes itself renew.
Retman my grandson (5) enjoys watching all your videos including ones like these where you talk about tractors. One of these Saturdays I'll bring him so you can meet him.
Great post, Pete! Putting the nice new shiny stuff on like the new steering wheel and logo just give you more motivation to get the dirty work started. Once you are done with the post purchase improvements and maintenance, you are going to really enjoy this machine! Well done, Pete!
Your spot on with the manual, can't stress enough the importance of having a good manual, I'll have to check them out. My son and I had to adjust the lash on his Massey Ferguson 285 last year, he blew a head gasket cutting hay, that was fun. Great looking job on the chicken, looked delicious. Thanks for sharing, have a good week.
Loving that charcoal BBQ. I switched from propane about 5 years ago and am never going back. Really enjoying these tractor videos as much as I do your others. 👍👍
Your one of my favorite’s to watch on U-Tube video’s. I like all of your video’s, mechanical, farming and selling (at the farmer’s market). Keep it up Pete and don’t pay attention to the nitpickers.
I always have to tell my farm help that New Holland jacks all crank backwards, not a clue why ? Gotta disagree with you about the anti-seize. Yes, it makes a mess of your hands and anything else it touches, but that is why it works. Stands up yo water, heat, oil. I have disassembled things that I put together decades ago, and the dame apart like it was a week ago. I’m glad I don’t have the electric bill for your freezers. Keep up the good work, Pete.
