You need to put a thumb on your bucket arm. It will certainly help when cleaning out the beaver dams. It will grab the debris and enable you to grab more with each dig.
That HUGE boulder you had would be great in the middle of the pond as a place to dive or jump off. I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️ how deep the pond is, so it may be to deep for the boulder. Great job on the pond dig. Maybe a bit of music to pass the time while you are doing time lapse filming.
You have amazing skills with your machine but... That dam won't even hold up that machine... I Shure hope it holds water way better... I've definitely never seen a dam built using the mud you dredge out of the stream bed... Usually you build a good solid clay core. Then top it off with good top soil... Idk. Maybe that's just an American thing. Having safe, reliable dams is a little more important when you have whole cities downstream. Open fields. I guess not so much. It would just suck to have to rebuild if it did ever wash out. Again tho. You have amazing skills with that excavator. And the pond looks awesome.
Thank you! Nice comment to read. You have totally right. But that dam is narrow and so thick. And it holds up good. No leaks or anything. The height difference is not also too big. 2m max, probably less and dam is around 6m wide from top. The water flows in constantly and the overflow is created to another place so it doesn't affect the dam. At the end, I think that this dam is okay in this place. But it not may hold up when its long and lot of water pressure.
