BTW, I imagining that Kentucky, like Tennessee, experiences that East to West (distance factors) evident in our current Socio-Political varying needs of the population; the geographic variables, and the Cultural variances, over History, for the Native People's and in the Colonial era through present. Both Tennessee and Kentucky cover a vast distance from West to East, Left to Right, and I feel the populations have a sense of collaboration between KY and TN, particularly for those "mid state to the border" between KY and TN, particularly in the Western area of KY, (a really attractive area along the River and the State Line along the River is unique, all the way down the River, due to the River's sandbars changing the pattern of the line. Surprising to those who aren't Map familiar with this subject. Tennessee has an Island by KY and land that appears on the West side of the River, in Arkansas (a state I f8nd to be one of my top 3 favorites. "The Natural State" is Gorgeous when one get past the Delta, up to the North and South, and Arkansas has the Best Drinking Water I have ever tasted ). The Geography is most appealing. Kentucky has the Cave Systems and lush areas of Crystals. These 3 States should Partner on Tourism Packages, these so much to enjoy, (West Tennessee pales, but can provide the Bar-b-que and Music, 😁 "Go Memphis!") On the Academic Subject: I would encourage Students and Academics to gain a value of the following, which I feel fortunate to have received training in through my Research Methodologies focus under the Head of the Dpt of Sociology, Dr Rebecca Gut, who also happened to be my Advisor, "University of Memphis". In Summary: One must apply the: 🔑 "Standards of Science and Research" which directs the Academic/Researcher to: "With the Mind fully Open, free of any predetermined, Beliefs, Theories, Opinions, ......... and allowing the Research Methodologies to extract the greater facts." Also, understanding: 🔑 "Freedom of Thoughts" are to be understood as Necessary and Required, they are the Foundation of Ethical Scientific Practices. Further, the Educated, the Academics, Professional Teachers, Researchers, and Administrators, while Students, use to have the value of learning: 🔑 "How to Master their Thoughts/Mind, for practicing a habit of being: "Conscious in Thought" + "Applying Higher Mind" (Where all our Positive Thought Energies and Wisdom reside.) 🔺 Discernment is used rather than being Accusational and Judgemental, both associated with the "Lower Mind, aka Ego Mind, aka Adolescent Mind". I have observed that those identifying themselves as "Mainstream Academics" overwhelmingly are departing from these Standards and Practices, as the basically are using a: "19th Century Theory based Paradigm and Linear Timeline as their foundation of fact and a tool of measure. A Theory may not be used as Facts, and to do so, then reject what doesn't fit the Paradigm can further cause inaccurate findings and cause countless flaws in their findings content. To hold a Theory Based Paradigm as their Fact Foundation, brings in the subject of "requiring Belief". I recently heard a PhD refer to this as the "Mainstream Academia Dogmatic Orthodoxy", and his description is actually reflecting the practice and what I have observed in behaviors exhibited. "Authentic Academics" adhere to the "Standards of Science and Research", and I suggest this would be the more appropriate practice and label. We're the subject held to a Forensic Review, or Peer Review, a vast amount of their works would be rejected. A subject that can't be ignored and is quickly requiring changes due to the Lab based Science values of DNA, proving many of their Theories inaccurate. It is an exciting time for History and Science as valuable findings are emerging and giving us greater certainties and facts, writing a far more accurate Story of History. Best Thoughts ...
