Hello Tamers! Welcome back to another Epic battle from "Booster set-11: Dimensional Phase"! The Xros Heart deck have gotten their strongest fusion yet, The Great Xros "Shoutmon X7"! And the leader of the Bagra Army makes his grand appearance! The war for the Digital World continues! Who will emerge victorious?! Thank you for taking the time to check out our videos! Please look forward to more epic battles from BT-11!
You know, this was the perfect video length ! Had to pause the video a few times to read the effects. Really cool video and did you get a new camera ? Looks like it is recorded in 4k or 8k on my end. ~From Nashville, Tennessee USA
Another amazing video! Always appreciate the effect explanations and onscreen text before it happens. You're the best Digimon TCG channel there is! Can't wait for the next one!
Something fun for you guys to know: The cast of Digimon Xros Wars have maintained almost all the Japanese names in the English Translation, aside from OmegaShoutmon being OmniShoutmon. My DarkKnightmon deck prefers having "Deadly" in DeadlyAxemon's name.
As a newcomer, this is by far the most overwhelming and most complicated battle I’ve seen, but man that looks fun! Definitely getting flashbacks from the anime (which I did like contrary to popular belief) Great video as always! Please keep it up! 😄
Amazing as always! Digimon is already a very anime game, but your duels are simply art! The fight was really intense and the Bagra Army leader hitting the field really felt like the final boss! But I wonder, do you think it'll be still fun to play xros heart even after shoutmon x4 is limited to 4?
@@summoned_skulll9480 I mean Tuwarmon tells BWGx to get over this you need to spend 9 memory or more to pop me if they are level 5 in raising and if you are set up enough with madleomons you tax them out
Ultimately, Protagonist made a fatal misplay during the turn he threw out X7. He should have attacked with Dorulumon first. When Paddy blocked with MadLeomon Armed Mode, he could then crash Sparrowmon into Armed Mode, still getting the draw and removing Armed Mode from the field and crucially, also removing Sparrowmon from the field. Then he could make his X7 play as per normal, obliterating Tacticmon with the effect, and swing over Damemon. Sparrowmon not ramming into security here wouldn't matter, since Paddy would still have 0 security at the end of the attack due to X7's Security Attack +1 from OmegaShoutmon's Inheritable. This would not only give Paddy one less Digimon to attack with, but also prevent him from Force DigiXrossing X7 into Sparrowmon, which would've prevented him from closing the game out there (since Bagramon's security-trashing effect would not activate since none of his digimon gained sources). And this would also turn Yuu's Memory gain effect against Paddy, passing to him at 1, meaning even if he had Blastmon in hand, he likely would not have been able to close out the game that turn, which would have led to Protag winning the next turn by swinging for game with X7. Even if Paddy avoided the memchoke by only using one Yuu's effect, he wouldn't be able to out X7 without sacrificing both Bagramon and MadLeomon, making no progress. Even if he should have made the play he did in the video, he should have Digixrossed using the Sparrowmon on the field, which would similarly leave Paddy without a way to Force Digixros to close out the game. No matter how you slice it, Protag misplayed and it lost him the game. Even if Paddy let Dorulumon's attack through, it would have crashed into the Damemon in security and removed itself from the field, then Sparrowmon could kill Damemon and then lead into the X7 play mentioned above, only swinging directly at Security. In this instance, Protagonist would have survived the turn at 0 security (from the attacks of MadLeomon, MadLeomon Armed and Bagramon, with one being blocked by X7). The only iffy part about this is in this scenario, he would only have to use one Yuu to get out Bagramon from Kimeramon, which could feasibly allow a Blastmon play, which would finish Protagonist off, assuming Paddy didn't inadvertently Memchoke himself with Yuu.
Nice fight and fun video with great effects and soundtrack as always. With Moon Millenniumon in Bagramon's background. I wonder if they will one day release a pack based on the Xros Wars manga.
Well Bandai seems to hate the olympians in general. They had a set called "cross dimension" or something like that, and didnt use that name to give us digimons from the diffrent dimensions of the digital univers.
I’m holding my breath for Dianamon and Apollomon to get a deck/decks. I’d prefer if they had separate decks cuz my friend and I like Apollomon and Dianamon respectively and we don’t want to double up on a deck, but if they did end up being put in the same deck it’d be cool to have them DNA digivolve into GraceNovamon
The power of X7 comes from all the cards you xros with. You get all these inheritables delete something get to attack with rush and reboot with blocker all for a cheap play cost
That Bagramon Forced Xros felt dirty, ngl. Was that a reference to the Manga that I just wasn't aware of? The only thing close that I can think of is when Bagramon takes over the forced fusion between himself and DarkKnightmon.
For all who want to use the Decklist to build their Decks for Locals or anything! The Xros is not tournament legal cause the Shoutmon X4 from BT10 is restricted to 1 per Deck (here 4 times in the Deck)
What outer sleeves do you guys use? Been looking into getting some to keep the pretty artwork ones safe. Great battle as always, Bagra looks really good with this upgrade!
Personally I use kmc character guards. They tend to be a bit hsrd to shuffle tho so I suggest you use the matte versions, even if it makes the picture a tad bit foggier
Sorry I’m new to the game. I thought you are supposed to destroy all of your opponents digimon but you just need to attack their security then attack them directly? That’s it?
Yes, you have to attack their security. There’s no restriction to how many Digimon can be out on the field and the only thing stopping you from playing Digimon is the memory cost. If we had to aim for the Digimon, then the game would take forever.
I really liked the video, although the names of the cards should be the official ones since in BT10 Bandai completely ignored the Fusion version and used the original names (thank God). 😅
hey card protagonists, I have a question about buddyfight, what happens if an item on your field has soulguard? Do u only receive damage after all sounds are gone or what?
@@seiya209 Yeah. Bagra Army is way too reliant on Yuu to make big plays. Xros Heart has its secondary tamers to greatly boost their resource gathering, and the quick Xrosses allow for early game draw at a greater level than Bagra Army. Xros Heart also can quickly swarm the board far faster than Bagra Army to a degree where the control tools they have early game aren't enough. Blue Flare's Gaossmon lets them chip away at security while also gathering their resources, and their memory boost is one of the strongest in the game. Bagra Army's control isn't amazing control either. All you do is match your opponent in card draw and gain lots of memory. There's not much to do with that memory. Blue Flare actively slows the opponent down significantly, while also poking at security. It doesn't go nearly as wide as Xros Heart, so it often ends up in a more favorable state than Xros Heart when DeathXmon hits the field. Bagra Army needs like 1 more archetype tamer to have aggression that hits harder and faster to match its rivals. Maybe some cards that have Sec+1 so you do more with your swings. Maybe cards that discard sources from under your opponent's tamers? That would be terrifying against Xros Heart and Blue Flare.
@@seiya209 Yeah unfortunately even with restrictions Xros Heart can pivot and be functional, the version of the deck they're running in this video is a really bad mish mash of both the more top heavy BT11 stuff and the BT10 speed stuff without any good utility cards or options. Bagra Army is still really, really bad and has no reliable ways to actually win the game.
Protag had an even better play, actually. He could've attacked with Dorulu first, then crashed Sparrowmon into MadLeomon Armed Mode after Paddy blocked. Then with X7 he could destroy Tactimon and Damemon, and suddenly Paddy loses his ability to close out the game, since he needed Bagra's security-trashing effect to strike the final blow after Damemon's attack. With the play I mentioned though, Paddy would only have 1 memory and just MadLeomon on the field, meaning he wouldn't have the resources necessary to close the game out that turn. If he didn't have another Tactimon available, Protag would've won the turn after, simply by swinging with X7.
When I heard that "Seven Victorize" shout from Shoutmon X7, I don't know how to put it, um this is a bit dirty, but I got a b*ner. A bit unfortunate how it ended X7 BTW T_T
