I actually love the D-Terminal. I wish there was a new updated version of this where you can raise all the Digimon to get their entries. And I also wish there was a chat function like in the anime, where you can chat with the other Digidestined/Tamers. I would prefer that over my regular smartphone 😂😂
I'm so happy I still have this from back in the day. I still remember running around in the forest, seeing Digimon everywhere and checking them on the terminal. Good times 😄
Dude the nostalgia is running rampant right now. I had this and brought it EVERYWHERE. I can only hope I still have it in my storage unit ;-; , the sounds it makes are everything, so good.
Man these sort of devices take me back. I still have my Pokedex kicking around which has a vert similar feel, but no where near the amount of functionality this has. Love that so many of the Digimon devices could interact with one another. Thanks for sharing, bud. 😄 Also you young'en, texts were 10p in my day! 🤣
I have really fond memories of playing around with this during my mom's wedding. Seeing all the Armor Digimon that didn't appear in 02 blew my mind! I felt like I knew a bunch of secret stuff other kids didn't 😂
Thanks for the tutorial! D-terminal is my favorite device,I've been searching for and collecting various versions.There are two different versions of the D-terminal system,1.0 and 1.1. They differ slightly in interface and letter display,this impressed me. Nice to see the video about D-terminal.😄
@@aikou2886 When you enter 306 in D-Terminal 1.0,it will have a question mark.This is a menu that is unlocked when communicating with the D-tector.If the system version of D-terminal is 1.1, 306 will directly display Imperialdramon.Other apart come from font differences in the letter input interface.

Never had one of these - i had the pokedex but this is waaaay cooler! No idea why pokemon was so much more popular. (Also flinched when you mentioned it being 20p to text someone vack in the day, and that Rasmus T-Shirt is a blast from the past too; I had one just like it years ago!)
@@DigitalDream09 yeah, I obsessed over The Rasmus up until Hide from the Sun, but I still have all their albums before that on my laptop- even the really weird old stuff they did in the 90's lol! Dead letters was their best though ✨️
Great video! I don't have a D-Terminal yet, though I've been wanting one. I want a D3 as well. But, I just got a DigiWindow from Data Squad/Savers to play with along my iC. It has less total digimon than the D-Terminal, but it's looking really cool so far.
I can actually answer the attack question here. The terminal used the translation of the Japanese anime names for the attacks not the localized names. Another good example is wargreymons attack was nova force on the terminal instead of terra force.
I used to have one of those, but unfortunately it went into storage for a good while and the battery corroded inside of it. Needless to say it didn't survive.
DANNNNGGGGG!!!!! That brings me back to my childhood not only because of the show but I had that and I never knew that my parents got rid of majority of my stuff till after they did it……broke my heart but luckily I kept TK’s digivice from the second show and and handful of DIGIMON cards in a DIGIMON card plastic box that has a switch on it that when you pulled down a card popped up from the top…..guess me and my parents had a misunderstanding or something and they thought I wanted to get rid of all my childhood things but now claim they did nothing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They’re surprisingly affordable compared to other Digimon electronics from this era, but this is better as a supporting device to your adventures, rather than as a “solo” device. In my opinion ofcourse

D-3 and D-T are the two toys I wanted back in the day, but my dad wouldn't get them for me, no matter what (he is understandably annoyed by the noise of my D-2). Today, I am over 30, and I still think D-3 is the coolest looking device.
Great video dude man this makes me wanna get a d terminal even more it's def on my want list but my all time holy grail that if want would b a pendulum 20th silver black or beelzubamon one the black and purple on that device is just so magical I hope one day I'll own one but til then I got plenty of dmxs dm20s and pen zs and the VB to keep me company lol stay ace dude

I had that and the Jurassic Park one they released for the third movie and i'm surprised the D-terminal doesn't have a battle minigame the jurassic park one actually had one

@@DigitalDream09 do you know what the digidex IS well ITS a App Version of the d-terminal but bigger and you can add Digimon to lists i use the digidex so i can Screenshot Digimon and edit them
@@DigitalDream09 it’s slightly expensive on ebay but worth it basically instead of a battle mode it had a Colosseum mode. where you unlock digimon in the dex when you defeated them with your vpet. that said try other buttons for the english battles. the D3 battles work when you use the big center button. guessing it’s an oversight when they were putting it together.
