I really hope that the English dub would be release on Blu-ray and/or DVD.

Wish this dub can draw more new and existing digi-fans' attention, and hopefully this series will become more and more famous as its popularity increases. Especially, not only they use the standard english digimon terms that we familiar with, they even using newly dubbed versions of the existing OP and two EDs, showing their commitment to this dub. Like you said, the cast is strong as well, interesting they picked Cherami Leigh (Biyomon's VA in Tri and Kizuna) to voice Sora this time, while Biyomon voiced by Tara Sands (Kari's VA in Tri and Kizuna).

Mimi being voiced by the same voice actress as Makima is priceless. Demon Queen and Queen of the Digital World!😂😂😂😂

I can't believe there are now two 'mon franchises where Zeno Robinson and Cherami Leigh voice two kids who are childhood friends

I gotta say, after watching several episodes of the English dub, I can confidently say that this was extremely well done! Really shows how dubbing quality for anime has come such a long way. The new cast is fantastic, and fans should definitely give this a chance!

Kari is voiced by the same person who voiced Sage in Sonic Frontiers, I fully approve this casting decision

Ben Diskin and Cherami Leigh are my favorite English voices, it’s awesome to be hearing Gabumon and Gomamon getting voiced by the people who voiced my two favorite characters, Knuckles and Rebecca same goes for Kari by the person who voice Sage, two Sonic voices in Digimon, but is there any voice actors who voiced Gundam or Gridman characters in this?

I didn’t grow up watching Digimon so I’m not too bummed about Joshua not returning but it is a shock since he’s so dedicated to the role. That’s pretty much why he’s THE voice of Tai to me at least, he has absolute dedication.

Hey Digimon fans. Several things that should be noted for those who couldn't afford to buy as many episodes as they want with the English dub. Especially the non US fans. First off. the Dub is amazingly awesome to watch! I managed to purchase up to 20 episodes of the ones I'm invested in for the English dub. The performances of the main cast is amazing, along with the actors doing guest roles like Bill Butts' Ogremon. Here are some trivia not mentioned so far at the time of this writing. Not all the actors voicing the partner Digimon voiced all their Digivolutions with the exception of Ben Diskin, Tara Sands, and Erine Yvette. Dave Mitchell is seemingly voicing only Gabumon, Not sure if he voiced Tsunomon too since I didn't buy the episode that featured him along with the Mephistomon crucifixion ritual. Christopher Swindle is voicing the Garurumon forms, but he did mentioned Dave voiced some of them. Not sure like Tsunomon and MetalGarurumon? Not sure if Chris voiced all the Kabuterimon forms too. Corina Boettger (pronounced Bet-Gur) voiced all of Palmon's forms with the exception of Ponchomon who is voiced by Alejandro Saab which he confirmed last Thursday. Alex Cazares is voicing Gomamon and Ikkakumon, It seems that a male actor is voicing Zudomon and Vikemon unless Alex's voice was heavily altered for those forms, Either way, her Ikkakumon voice fits very well in my opinion. Lizzie Freeman is voicing Poyomon, Tokomon, Patamon, and seemingly Pegasusmon too. Have to say that Pegasusmon's voice fits well in the Dub too. Angemon and his higher forms are played by a male actor which I highly hoped to be the case and Studiopolis chose the right actor for this version of Angemon. Same notion can be said for Gatomon. High quality performances for the duo Celestrial Digimon. The terms are mixed bunch with the Japanese and English variations, more so on the latter. Goldramon and Magnadramon are used of course. Fire Tornado and Gold Fist. Dragon Fire instead of Apocalypse. Surprisingly Seven Heavens is used instead of Strike of the Seven Stars. I hope this helps with the curiosity of many of the fans that can't watch it now. Feel free to share more facts and enlighten me of facts I have not been aware of. Thanks for the read.

You're not wrong, I was sad to not see the old cast return, but I will be willing to try it out and see where the cast is going with this series

Mad love and respect to Digimon Adventure reboot and it is phenomenal and I'm a huge HUGE fan of the Digimon adventure 1999 to Fusion etc and Tri movies to ghost game and onwards ! Welcome back Digimon fam !.

It's so crazy that Cherami Leigh is playing Sora, since she played Byomon on the Last Kizuna movie. Also her first name is pronounced like "Share-ah-me" and last name is pronounced like "Lee". She's actually a family friend funnily enough. Fun fact, Leigh is her middle name but she uses it for her stage name since she thought it had more star quality than her real last name.

Tbh I’m one of those fans who are skeptical of the 2020 reboot. I’m curious, but I also have a strong attachment to the original series that it doesn’t feel necessary to even have a reboot. And in my heart, no one can ever replace the dub cast. Especially Mona Marshall as Izzy and Philece Sampler (RIP) as Mimi. That and I’m kind of tired of how much new material has been put for Adventure in the last couple years 😅 With that said- this dub cast is STELLAR. And I’m glad that they committed to using the dub names. The original dub also did the whole “these are nicknames” workaround, it just wasn’t outright stated. For the most part. I remember there was a moment in the dub where Izzy’s mom actually calls him “Koushiro” and I thought that was a nice touch. Anyway- this dub cast has me *so close* to giving in and watching the anime. So close.

Tara Sands also voices bulbasaur in pokemon, also, Cristina Vee sings at least one of the songs

Ngl part of me was wanting Steve Blum to voice one of the characters but I’m satisfied we got some really good voice actors for the characters

When you mentioned Genshin, I was hoping it would be Corrina Boettger and I was really hoping they would be Sora or Mimi. I know people's opinions on Paimon, but Corrina is an amazing VA, especially in the game series AI the Somium FIles as Mizuki, delivering the most natural sounding grade school girl voice work I've heard in literally ANYTHING. Its a bit too bad they changed VAs, but it has been over 20 years. How many of the OG voice actors are still even in the industry at this point?

Fucking Hunter from Owl House is Tai! That's so cool. Also, I agree that this release is asinine. $33 per Arc, 4 Arcs; that's insane pricing. I just finished rewatching the 1999 Adventure since I am showing Digimon to a friend and we were both bawling at the last episode. It was tough to keep them on board at the beginning (those first 2 arcs are rough) but once we got to the ep where Tai goes back to the real world they were hooked. Love your videos man and I think a cool video idea is like "top 10 things changed in the dub" or a review of the dub

I was waiting for you to cover this due to how interesting the cast is. Full of great VAs. It reminds me how in FF7 Remake, they recasted the English cast from the FF7 compilation. Not really as affected due to it just being a reboot.

Really hoping this gets released somewhere besides the Microsoft store. The dub cast sounds amazing and I am hoping that maybe if they change a few lines around and make the characters feel more distinguished, it could change my opinion of Adventure:2020 to be slightly more positive.

Glad they dubbed the opening from the original version, sad it didn't happened to the others, seasons/ show maybe with dubbing the original dialogues including the show maybe history could be different and maybe helped dubbed the unaired previous seasons

Sounds like they got a great cast. I wish it was on a steaming site or at least something more available. Just feels like many new and old fans won't check it out because of a paywall. Maybe there will be a better way later, but I don't think that will happen.

Dang ‘99 is what I grew up on but I’m going to have to try this out with all these great cast members.

I really didnt enjoy Adventure 2020, but I was excited for the dub until they released it with THAT price tag. So I opted to just buy a few episodes I liked a lot. Jyagamon's Potato Hell and The Attack on The Digimon School were both very fun to watch dubbed honestly. The cast was doing great.

I love the old cast but also think they got a beautiful send off in Kizuna. Time to start something new

It looks like they pulled out the stops to make a genuinely good dub, though I haven't seen any of it (and likely won't). Rewriting the opening and ending(s?) in English is more work than I expected, at any rate. It's just a real damn shame that, in classic Digimon fashion, all that effort is immediately sabotaged. The _Microsoft Store?_ No streaming options? Those prices? *_The Microsoft Store?_* Unless they have a planned streaming launch and just took some kind of timed exclusivity deal, this dub is dead in the water.

Solid cast. I'm sure I like Alex Cazares as Gomamon, though imagining Rebecca's voice, she would have been a great Palmon too. I thought Bonnie Gordon would also be a good choice. I just really like raspy Palmon. Like the OG Anna Garduno. And maybe this is wishful thinking, but I'm hoping they get some of the legacy VOs in for side-characters. How cool would it be if they got Anna Garduno to voice Barbamon, or Colleen O'Shaughnessy as Valkyrimon?

Maybe when they do HD remaster of the original digimon adventure, they could get the 2020 English voice cast to do the voices cause I think some of the new voices fit the characters better like 2020 voice for agumon, don’t get me wrong on the original English voice for the original adventure, I just think that 2020 voice fits him better.

Releasing the Dub on the Microsoft Store of all things is one of the most baffling choices I have ever seen. Like, did they sign some contract they have to adhere to or something, or is it just incompetence? I just can't imagine why they would do it this way.

I love and grew up the original Digimon Adventure. Im about 50ish episodes into the 2020 reboot and honestly I think I like the reboot better

I always find it funny when people say someone is best know for, and then don't say the roles that person is best known for.

II haven't watched the dub remake yet but all I can say is that it's gonna take some adjusting for sure. I'm sure all these replacement actors will be good but there's no denying that with the original dub, all the voices worked for their respective characters and it's gonna be weird not hearing them this time around lol.

Why did they release the dub like this, it's split it 5 over priced seasons at 25 to 40 dollars per season depending on if you get standard or hi-definition, so minimum $125 for whole series. To rub salt in the wounds I don't own anything that runs Microsoft so I can't watch the series even if I did pay double to triple the price of buying anime in stores. Oh well guess I'll watch it subbed for free.

NGL as talented as they car tbh the only thing keeping me from watching the subbed version was bc if the og dub voices coming back. It's sad they aren't and it's completely new cast. Ppl like Joshua Seth are why I enjoyed watching even years later so without the factor there's nothing keeping me to the dub anymore. ESP bc the Trip series and Kizuna had most of them. Also Major L for ppl who grew up with it but also major L on its access to the newer and potential younger fan base who don't have access to it bc it's on Microsoft store, and you have to purchase it separately? But they got shoutmon is voicing agumon so I'm happy that at least they're giving roles to ppl who have been involved in the digiverse in some way but it seems like it was just him
