Digimon Survive "Moral Route Ending" 

A prequel that takes place in 2020 while Digimon Adventure takes place in 1999... Although Digimon Adventure is the most famous product of the franchise, it was neither the first nor the last story of the saga. Most of the stories in the series have nothing to do with Adventure.

@@origialtych Even if the story took place before 1999 if it didn't take place in the same timeline as Adventure then it wouldn't be a prequel. The story "Digimon Tamers 1984" takes place before 1999 but as the title indicates it is a prequel to Tamers and not Adventure which takes place in different universes.

@@siabenkamui8968 I was refering to the original Digimon Oneshot and V-tamer also Survive didn't take place inteh Adventure Universe Timeline either I am not arguing that just pointing out the digimon timeline is old than most people think and they all are also connected

@@awanfarrell2880 Not sure but most likely need to save Ryo, there's notification after clearing the game "You can save Ryo with high Affinity"

@@Avanael OK and save the others too. Is there a walkthrough in getting a moral true ending

@@awanfarrell2880 pick Save Friend Option at the end of Chapter 8, probably need 20 Moral at least to unlock the choice

Yes this was my first ending as well. Admittedly that playing the game for the first time, Ryo and shuuji were to far removed from reality both crazy, and the latter was an asshole. That aside the moral route seemed like the better ending of the three.

@@antivizz Well spoilers In the Moral route you get Omegamon its a event while in the Truthful route the Omegamon event doesn't even play out. In the Moral route you just fight the Master while in the Truthful route you have to fight the Digimon Sovereigns and the Master in his true form. There is a lot more. So you have to play yourself.

I like it, becuse I always want to save as many people as I can with these games.

He'll join late chapter, chapter 10 or so at Moral Route. I've had All Characters reach their Mega Evolution (by reaching 70 affection for each characters), idk if it was requirement for Garurumon to join.

I know same here. Wanted to unlock partner plutomon but got the sovereign instead 😆. Oh well. Got everyone's mega levels too. So it was worth it.

if you saved Ryo, then thats the truthful route not moral

Maybe, I think you need both ryo and shuiji to get truthful ending

@@lucifercon4868 If ryo is saved then shuuji is basically saved too. its kinda difficult with ryo alive

@@pinoygoukirage Yeah if you're not sure you could really try skipping cutscenes, if you can't skip on the one where Ryo should die, that's the Truthful Route. I found it very easy to achieve because you'll have to try not talking to Ryo to even not get it on NG+.

Probably not, This game Real World Calender was set at 2020. the original Digimon Adventure was 1999.

@@Avanael It's a prequel since the world of Survive is what would eventually become the Digital World and the Kemonogami are what would eventually become the Digimon.

It does not have anything to do with Adventure. Adventure happened at 1999 and this is happening 2020. There is no way this would be prequel

@@joonas394 it would be a prequel because at this time what the children have as partners and the monsters of that world are not digimon yet. They are Kemonogami(Beasts Gods),local gods,shikigami,yokai,demons,spirits etc and their world is not yet a digital world. They had to sacriffice humans to sustain their world not like it is sustained through digital data in the present. They only become digimon and their world a digital world after the fight with Piemon leaks and they upload photos and videos from their journey there and thanks to the internet and tehnology being an intrinsic part of human society and their beliefs, that world and its creatures changed to a realm sustained by digital data and its creatures into "digital monsters" to reflect the beliefs,feelings,emotions of humans since humans and kemonogami are one half of the same soul.

It can be a prequel to any sort of timeline that takes place after 2020. Even variants of the anime seasons that take place after 2020 (except Tamers, since they clearly state the origin of that timeline's Digital World) could theoretically come after this.

It can't be because this story happens in 2020 and Adventure takes place in 1999 and 2002. So they're completely different universes, I guess
