I don't think you can, is that an officially confirmed ruling? In that one moment, despite the card being moved underneath, it became a level 2 before digivolve in the battle area.
Because it's in the middle of an effect, the game doesn't see it as a level 2 attempting to survive in the battle area. Once the effect is completed, then the game will check, but by the time it's checking, it's a level 3.
@22:47 confused as to why the gabubond player popped blue mem boost and then played fox fire. If they just played fox fire the the gracenova player would also go to 3 memory. Am I missing something?
