Very Cool unit, this! I like the parallel signal ability that I’m seeing included on some compressors these days. Even on some small Guitar units. Nice job on the demo!

Any chance you can showcase the compressor on the Heat+FX or how to achieve different flavors of compression (LA-2A, Urei, Variable MU, All Buttons in/Nuke) using the Elektron Compressors?

So the SCS changes the effect of the entire compressor and targets just one destination when picking any track other than LR?

Is the compression settings applied to the whole project or is it possible to have different settings per pattern ?

Nice Tutorial thanks. Im beginng to understand how compressor works. But sadly often my mix gets louder when I put the kick away. I have the sidechain effect on the kick. I think I didnt set the treshold right. But not sure what it is. Can somebody help?

Monokel Try to exclude the kick from the compressor mix bus, for example by using the input filter. The kick drum is likely the element with the highest sonic energy and triggers the compressor hardest, so it ducks everything else away.

Is it possible to reach a ducking effect with this compressor? I'm choosing the kick track as source but it does compress it aswell and I loose the kick's punch, I'd love to leave the kick alone and compress the rest of the tracks... is this possible ?

Yes, it should by possible with the compressors EQ. Select a hipass and the compression should ignore the kick.
