That's pattern mute, it's saved for each pattern as opposed to the global mute mode. Press shift + pattern twice and you're there. :)

I bought it years and years ago when they still sold kits! Was lucky enough to find me a seller in Germany that could sell me a pair of SIDs. Didn't use it for the longest time but it's great for DnB =D
