thanks man. yep, its possible but you have to be careful with your sample selection as you can easily hit the RAM Limit that way ;-) the Patterns are the key. They store everything necessary, including Sample assignments, so you could easily create several different tracks inside of one Project without the need to worry about anything. And the Track Transitions can easily be programmed into a Bridge Pattern, no big deal. Really - the only drawback is the limited RAM Space. 128 Samples per Project only. Requires some housekeeping and Recycling to get the job done, for sure!

I'm sure with 128 samples you can do a 1-2h set. The samples can be so customisable that 1 sample can easily sound like 4 different ones if you tweak the settings correctly. I'm receiving my Digitakt in less than a week. Can't wait to start using it!

yep, thats the other side of the Medal. You can bend and twist them quite easily. But be careful with longer Samples. Although there are 128 Sample Slots, there is a limit to the overall Sample Time. So for example - if you work with Samples which are 16 seconds long - or more - and you load a ton of them, you might hit the RAM Limit before all of the Sample Slots are used. I never got to that point yet, but i havent built a Set on the Digi yet. Keep them short and use the Single Cycle Waveforms if you need longer, evolving Synth Sounds. Those take just a tiny portion of RAM Space, but they can sound indefinitely since they have to be looped.

You should build a set for the Digi see how that works ;) anyway keep the good work I've been learning a lot with your videos and plan to apply all of it when I receive my Digitakt :D

Straight in. They are converted to mono as you transfer them with Elektron Transfer or C6. No need to prep them first.

Nice, I remember converting some of my samples from 24 to 16 bit just to make them work on E2S, pain...

idk the Sample Rate of these Samples tbh, because i usually dont care about such things. I assume they are in 24 Bit, but i really dont know. Only thing i know is, that the Mono Conversion takes place for certain! If Sample Rates are not matching ... idk, sorry :-D

Yeah, they are 24 bit. I'm expecting to get my Digitakt in the next few days, and there is a hard decision to make, as I have also MPC Live. One of them will stay. I like MPC because of huge storage and ram, but Digitakt workflow is more attractive for me, like instrument compared to MPC where you have to dig the menus and plan everything. If MPC will go then I'm planning to buy Heat as a companion for Digitakt and rest of my simple setup (Monologue, PO-12 and Blofeld). Decisions, decisions ... Can't believe that I started exactly 12 months ago with one Monotribe :D

Did you use Transfer or C6 for this? Which do you prefer? Really great tune!
