@@RocketSlime characters have little to no development throughout the story, leaders are useless because of this, plot is paced weird and angel is literally the worst smt villain because she gets no attention in the story at all

@@LightKing1237 the point isn't about development the point is about them slowly learning more complex emotions than what they initially start with, DDS 2 handles the character development and does so really well, also the story isn't really badly paced you didn't give any examples of why, the whole story is pushing the cast forward the mystery and the machinations of the villian specifically. Villian wise She may not DO alot but her presence is all throughout the story as a whole and she is a driving force

@@RocketSlime I'm terms of development no. The story barely develops half it's cast as Cleo gets no development and none of the leaders get developed but 2, the rest are unused and never utilized give me no reason to care. In terms of bad pacing gales development is tied behind one of the commanders death but that commander exists for 3 scenes and then dies making his development feel mega rushed and never hinted at I think there was a total of one scene that hinted at Gale past but it's so underdeveloped that almost all of his development just happens in one scene. The only character who got good development is argila and heat that's it and even then heat still doesn't feel fully developed. The fact Angel is the one pulling the strings doesn't mean she's good, she lacks and real screen time and build up making her final boss feel like "ok I'm fighting this guy I guess" and not "holy shit I'm fighting the one who was doing it all!" Lack luster is the only words I use to describe DDS

@@LightKing1237 have a feeling you only played DDS 1 and don't know that gale, Cielo, And such all get growth as characters also Jenna gets alot more to do in the second game the leaders like Roland didn't ALOT of development but he did get moments with Argilla, and she herself also comes into her own as well and again Jenna does more than you think she often manipulates shit from behind the scenes like WHY should she even open her self up/expose herself to be attacked and found out that's stupid
