Bit of an own goal on behalf of the Amico fans (are they fans or cultists?) - telling DF to research the Amico. They don't realise that they've only damaged themselves further and shown themselves to be hugely immature in the process.
Yeah I hate to say it but I think this thing is a mess. I don't see amazing 2D games; I see really low quality looking content and content based on very basic 3D visuals - people can argue that visuals don't matter all they want but they do - presentation matters. There was no need for them to target such ridiculously low capabilities for a 2021 console or the target such low quality looking games. They want to replicate the success of the Wii. To do that they'd have to be at least comparable to a base Xbox One or even a Nintendo Switch, and the software to back it up. Because at the time that is what the Wii was comparable to, a last gen console. I mean I watched a trailer where a young child mindlessly said the line that "it beats Xbox a lot". How much did they pay the parents of that kid to say that hahahahaha? I actually wanted to believe in this product when it was announced. A part of me believed it would be this ultra amazing 2D focused system. But so far all I see is hot air.
