There are more shops in Malaysia currently taking pre-orders for the Digital Monster X, which will be in English, so it's definitely happening. The Bandai of America PR has vaguely stated that they have more to reveal about "something" in the future, but no further details there.

@@humulomon Legendary dude! Thanks so much, I will be holding out. Do you know if they’ll release all 6 in English? I found something on a Malaysian store with Version 1 colours black and white. Then a mix of versions 2-3, translucent red and translucent blue. So as you know missing translucent purple and translucent yellow.

Lilithmon X you can get with just the Red device, no connection necessary. The XAI controls your random encounters, quest difficulty and battle meter speed

It sure can! But your Pendulum will win almost 100% of the time. The battle must be initiated by the DMX.

@@humulomon I'm sorry for the extremely late question but, how do you know if a device/pet will win or lose against other based purely on its type? Do you have any source/video where we could learn more about the mechanics of the battle system? If the Digimon Unlimited APK was indeed an exact replica of the original Pendulum then I do have a pretty vague understanding of the power metrics, as the Classic training gave +1 power and a Perfect Pendulum training gave +4 power, then you just kept adding that hidden power value and if your pet had a higher power value than your opponent you would always win regardless of the shake/shooting pattern your pet rolled. I would definitely say it's worth it to wait, since it will be much cheaper to get the English versions next year.

You have two backup slots on the device. When you first select one, the Digimon you are currently raising will be placed into backup where it is completely frozen in time, and you will be given a new egg to hatch. If you choose a backup slot that has a Digimon in it already, the Digimon you are currently raising will go into backup, and the Digimon that was backed up will come out for you to raise, exactly as you left it.

Japanyouwant is my personal recommendation, they usually have the best prices around. They usually new stock on a weekly basis.

You can swap Digimon in and out of backup, but they can't be deleted. You can only take one out and let it die

Once your Digimon evolves into Baby II, you can switch back to the DIgimon you have backed up. You just can't put a Baby I into backup.

Yes, there is one Evolution that does require connecting Red and Purple together. The other 43 Digimon can all be gotten on one device.

Everything is indeed in English out of the box except for the Digimon names! This is true for the DMX2, DMX1 and Pen20 series. While we haven't seen the menus for the DMX3 yet, it's safe to assume that they will also be in English.

Currently these are usually running at 70-90 dollars per device. Japanyouwant.com currently has the pair for 150, which is about as good as you can get it right now.
