Hello, Omri. It's nice to see a live performance with VCV Rack. I really enjoyed the parts where you use distortion. There is something emotional about that. (For example at 8:45). I noticed that you don't need many controls in your mixer, to get a lot of variation in the music. When I watch live performances by some other people on RU-vid, I get the feeling that I need some kind of aircraft cockpit at home to make live performance. :)

Hey, thanks! Yeah, in VCV, I patch things up, usually, so they will play by themselves without me having to do anything so I don't need to have too many controllers I guess.

Absolutely gorgeous piece man! How did I miss this first time around? The link to this was on an email from Jakub, as I’m currently in discussion with him regarding a Midilar. Have asked about the possibility of an X/Y joystick controller as I’m really getting into the EMS Synthi in the latest Arturia V Collection.

Nice man! Reminds me of some of your earlier work for sure. The Midilar controller looks like a definite upgrade over the NanoKontrol :) I know that is an understatement it looks really awesome. Are they commercially available yet? The website is kind of empty with information and I can't see that you can order them...

Yeah, right? I also think it sounds like something I made a year ago 🙂 Funny, maybe it's my workflow with VCV, who knows. Anyway, about Midilar, it's a one man operation so he's being careful not to take too much work but you can email him and make an order. On his website, you can see the available modules and how you can customize them. Cheers!

Not so many composers can call vcv his "roots"! Great piece! Out of curiosity, Did the eurorack experience changed something in your way to set this patch?

Hey Pyer, thanks! Well, I have to be honest, it really sounds like something I could have written a year ago, before starting with hardware so I guess that using only VCV brings something different out of me. And you know what, I think that VCV is the one that has the lead when it comes to ideas and experimentation. Things move usually, for me, from VCV to hardware and not the other way around.
