This is by far the best new Diiv song I've heard. I had been critical of Deceiver. After a few listens I can see its brilliance. This, however, is what I love about Diiv.

This song is pretty old, believe it or not. According to Devin, Park Wild was actually cut from Is The Is Are. I guess this was just a re-imagining of the song in the style of Deceiver.
Just speculating, but it seems 'Blakenship' wasn't written at this point (in their new doc. 'Starting Now' you can see Cole playing around the Blankenship riff in a hotel/motel room). To my ears this song is very Is The Is Are (although the chorus is quite Deceiver-esque too). Perhaps they preferred Blanekship and used it instead of this...
