Listen to this Guy, he knows what he's talking about, he's telling you the truth and Dillon machines are the very best and finest progressive machines on the market. Second to none. Dillon is the standard by which I measure other manufactures products. And damn few measure up. Most are found wanting compared to Dillon products. And in case you're wondering....., "NO" I do not work for Dillon nor am I associated with them. I am just a customer and I own 3 of their machines. An XL650 and Two RL550B's Very best equipment I own, and I own a lot.
If you are in the market for a reloader, buy a Dillon, the quality of the workmanship is attested to by the durability of their machines. Customer service has been without peer. I have had my two Dillon 550s since the mid 1990s. Unfortunately I have not kept track of the number of cartridges loaded on these machines. I would not hesitate to purchase another of their products should I have need to do so.
I still miss the forums, Dillon. There was a wealth of information *that I helped create* that is now lost. Next thing you'll be outsourcing your tech support to India. So it goes...
Can you use the RT1500 electric trimmer on a RL1100? Can you set up a dedicated Toolhead/ Quick Change kit to swap the RL1100 from Case Prep to reloading? And if so would both work with the DA3000? The difference between the RL1100/DA3000 + the RT1500 vs adding 3k for a whole CP2000 is more than worth the extra effort.
You can change thr primer holder instead of the whole arm actually. Can do it under a minute with no adjustment. Look at the side of the bar and you will see an allen bolt. Lift press half way to access.
Mark7 does make some good automation equipment. We salute our competitors, as it drives us to maintain our ability to offer the best customer service and manufacture what is statistically looked at as the worlds finest reloading equipment to all income classes and levels of shooters.
