Dil pasand is an famous Indian tutti frutti pie made with homemade puff pastry and tutti frutti (candied papaya) and dry coconut filling. It tastes super delicious when baked in a proper way. This one is my favourite dish from childhood. Daddy used to bring some delicious Dilpasand from bakery In our chilhond. but unfortunately we couldn’t get that taste now a days. So, I prepare my own dil pasand when ever I’m craving for this. This time I wanted to share this recipe with you all. I hope you like it 😊

Ingredients for filling :
tutti frutti : 1 cup
Desiccated coconut/grated dried coconut : 1 cup (recipe here)
sugar : 1/2 cup
Dry fruits : 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder : 1 tea spoon
Egg or butter for applying on top
For puff pastry dough :
All purpose flour/maida : 250 grams
Unsalted butter or margarine : 130 grams
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Extra flour for dusting
