Hello guys, im back on making videos again. This time i wont use the text to speech bot, instead i will just use subtitle for you guys to understand the point or context of the video. Let me know if its better to use the Text to speech or this is better in the comment section. In Today's video we will talk about Diluc Vape vs Diluc Melt. Diluc can do both of the strogest elemental reaction in the game. This will lead us in a comparison which is which and what will be better in the endgame of Genshin Impact.

if you freeze and enemy, diluc will shatter and vaporize instead of melt because he's a claymore user

hey guys i mostly prefer melt cuz higher dmg here's my build: Diluc, chongyun(or kaeya), ganyu, bennet. this is quite a good team cuz you get the 25% atk bonus and the 15 crit rate also you can melt almost every hit

I would run this team comp as well when i have ganyu, but unfortunately i didn't get her, but im waiting for her rerun

Chongyun is bad for diluc because his pyro infusion after using his ult, there is no consistent cryo applicator right now. I play diluc with xingqui for consistent damage even though he is trap

Rosaria helps the Melt comp a lot more, especially if you have C2 Rosaria so your ult is 12 seconds instead of 8. Rosaria and Kaeya combined will help you strongly apply Cryo to enemies so you can proc Melt with almost every Diluc strike, even if your ult is up. Rosaria and Kaeya also help each other with particle gen and you get the Cryo resonance for bonus crit rate

Vapenation \o/ Also if u atack frozen enemies u will mostly shatter with Diluc, not melt. But theres also the thing that Xingqiu does BIG dmg with his Q and it can also be double, while kayea doenst come close to him And Xingqiu E does even more dmg (mine does up to 39K on vaporize and its not even C4 yet), this is also a diference from cryo characters....

Yeah, i noticed that i deal shatter most of the time and not melt. Hitting frozen enemy will just be shattered because diluc is a claymore user. Tho, cryo supports in this game are not as good as xingqui when it comes to reaction support

I believe the melt not happening when used the alt is a bug. But if normal hit, it will be shatter

i dont have xingqiu so i just have chongyun and fischl in my team(chongyun for before ult and fischl for after ult)

No need to freeze the ennemy with hydro + cryo, Only applying cryo works for melt (hitting on an enemy with cryo element doesnt shatter)

I prefer Melt personally, I use diluc + diona + xiangling + kaeya. (I don’t have Bennett) plus u get 35% more atk (with xiangling ascension passive) 15% more crit rate so

The good thing about Mona is that not only she's a decent hydro applicator and a good battery for Xingqiu, she makes enemies take 40-60% more Total Damage with her omen. So she basically multiplies Diluc's Vaporize damage by 40-60% for 5 seconds. With a simple calculation, (1.5)*1.4 = 2.1.Though only for 5 seconds, she can basically copy the damage of Melt teams.

you dont need to freeze the enemy. just apply cryo on them. i'm using rosaria as a supp for my diluc. and the melt + reverse melt is good

im using diluc,xingqiu,sucrose,bennett xingqiu is literally all u need for hydro, sucrose is for em and 4 piece VV,and bennett is well b e n n e t t

I know you can get a more consistent damage using xingqiu but he's in a fixed set with my Keqing-I can't really separate them T_T I plan to use Diluc, Kaeya, Diona, Sucrose/Xiangling (again, Bennet's on Keqing's team) but I haven't really been able to make it work as well as vaporize... this is hard

you can run kaeya and diona with diluc, but the cryo application is really not that great. but still can work. dont use xiangling in your diluc team since her skill and ult can take the melt damage instead of diluc making the melt damage. try using, kaeya, diona, sucrose and diluc in a team. if you learn how to apply cryo consistently with the help of sucrose you will be able to do more damage than vaporize :))

Thoughts on Rosaria? How does she compare to Kaeya? At C0 and at c2?

I think in this showcase, you just have to put Kaeya on field consistently enough with his E for energy recharge since it's not hard to fill it up. Also, his ascension scales his ER so if your Kaeya is properly leveled up, you won't have any energy recharge issue

You should wait 2 secs before bursting Mona's bubble, only then the bubble will deal big damage

There is an issue with diluc mona combo, because diluc can pop the bubble while animating his ult. Idk why but this is an issue before.

I use diluc rosaria qiqi and sucrose, hoping I can get good artifacts for diluc so I can build for my support char. I dont need that much crit chance for diluc atleast 40 or 50 percent cause I rely on the cryo reso and passive talent on rosaria. Sucrose helps for some elemental mastery, qiqi for some emergency healing incase I get bursted

Well, I actually used Ganyu for both roles... And I have Venti to actually make sure that the Cryo debuff would generate quicker and faster within Ganyu Q, so that Diluc can melt consistently. Who would have thought that it actually work well for me :)))

I would do the same as well, my only problem there is that venti lifts up most of the enemies. But when it comes with big enemies. This team comp is a beast

Not sure you’re using melt correctly. Try cryo without water to avoid shatter.

2:25 you are doing shatter damage cus of hydro and cryo and hit that it will do shatter damage instead of melt.....

Vape is much better. Not just because it's a lot more consistent but because Yelan/Xingqiu most of the time deal more damage themselves than Kaeya/Rosaria

actually you can, hitting an enemy with hydro then applying cryo to the enemy will cause freeze. and frozen enemies have cryo applied to them. so you can melt with frozen. in this case i was shattering it because diluc is a heavy sword user. it breaks the frozen enemy to the state of being frozen.
