Hello! We also replied to your IG DM, but the short answer is, at the gauge cluster connector, add the supplied resistor between pin 25 (Brown wire) and Pin 18 (Pink/Black wire).
Hi, i have 2 questions to askv 1) Is there any way at all possible to control "on the fly" dimming of an HDX cluster with the rest of my interior's led lighting? (Either using this knob to also dim the other LED's, or using another led dimmer knob to also dim the HDX cluster?) 2) If using the HDX Vintage Air controller and HDX gauges, will the controller also be able to have on the fly dimming using this knob?
In regards to question number 1, unfortunately not - the DIM-1 and HDX combination will not correlate to the remainder of the vehicle's lighting level. Then, the DCC will directly follow the HDX lighting colors and intensity levels, even with the DIM-1 connected.
@@DakotaDigitalTV thanks guys, this helps alot in planning out the custom lighting for my build. Its going to be wired up from scratch, 100% custom, so just trying to see what is going to work ahead of time.
