Ganduss like you is the perfect example for spoiling society by giving them second chance...if it was in our colony then we would have lock him up for nearly a week with only salt and water so that they won't repeat again...
My opinion: Everybody deserves a second chance. We should try to look at everyone's back story. Last month,a thief broke into my aunt's house on Sunday while everyone was in the Church,stole laptop,tablet and like 10k and later after some few days,he was caught red - handed trying to steal again. They were angry at him,but when he told me his back story and why he had to steal, their anger subsided and they felt nothing by pity and sympathy for him. They decided to forgive him and not file an FIR. Ofc they took back the laptop and tablet but gave the 10k to him .
Because of soft hearted people like them in the society, criminals are thriving because they know they'll either go unpunished or get lighter sentences if they can cook up some sad shitty Story..
So a thief just has to say “I’m a juvenile drug addict,” and our Naga Mahatma Gandhis will just believe it and let go. How noble!👏🏻 Jesus must be proud
No they don't have to say it! People with humility and a good understanding of analysing a scenario will just know if someone needs to be forgiven or not! That's why some are saying being educated really makes a different being.

Addiction is a disease which can't be cured but can be erased. An addicts person commit or risk to take any steps even after knowing the consequences. In Nagaland we need more rehab with knowledgeable Counselor to stop addiction. They are patients so they need proper treatment. "Addiction is the only war that one need to surrender to win" I pray God have mercy on Nagaland.
There is a group of young boys stealing frequently from chakhesang colony hill star area...very soon they will be out on public and ll be interviews by global window,nltv,etc..hope they are reading it seriously..

Once me n my friend was caught up by colony youth taking drugs they were not understanding at all instead they beat us up badly that I went handicap for some days took fine money as well which we didn't want to give didn't educate anything about drugs instead threatened us beat us n took our money they were drunk when they beat us please look into it this must change happening in Nagaland
He was found stealing in Hardware store Walford colony just a month ago. Again he is not change at all. He will be same again in the near future. He is lying. I saw him with my naked eyes.
Even sir lanu helped the culprit but what on earth his relative openly declared he never going to take risks. Other than that supposed If it happened, he become successful person or rich then even far relatives would take and claimed that he's is one of their own. Atleast drug addicts too are human beings indeed they need our support and counseling. Instead his uncle also need counseling in giving how services should be given to humanity and considered own mankind irrespective of their whatsoever background. 🙏🙏🙏

This is a serious problem in our state. I didn't know they have gang. Police dept need to seriously look on this matter. Dimapur is becoming chor city! Our society is more interested in banning alcohol. The menace of drugs seems to be alright for us all. Hope our society and our churches will raise their voice against drugs which is the silent destroyer of self, family and society.
I don't see him so much as a tribal, even the relative doesn't seem tribal. And another thing why 17 years is considered juvenile, i feel when a person learns to distinguish right and wrong should be treated as same.
In just two weeks, our iron rods was stolen by some thief which was kept on Terrace. For confirmation I just want to know which colonies did they went for stealing things... Cause our colony is nearby the station too.

One of my suggestion will be to put him in the rehab center if he is only willing n also looks like he will agree to it. Take care of him God must have different purposes for him.
There should a capital punishment for drug dealers its worst than a murder because its destroying our Naga feature generation and I am sure majority of the youths are addicted so before its too late there should be a law otherwise its like how the British destroyed the Konyaks its happening the same.
