Hi guys! We're back again for a new performance. We had such a good time watching the last one that we wanted more of it! This one really blew us away and left us with a lot of different emotions.

I love how you both feel the music. So many of Dimash's critics are saying they can't feel it because they don't understand the lyrics/language. Which to me means they don't really understand music at all. Music is supposed to be felt with your soul, not being interpreted by the brain. 🎶 ❤️

What you're saying is so true, Anneli! I feel like a singer need to be able to translate the lyrics and words into emotion and make the listener feel it in the soul as opposed to being interpreted by the brain like you said! Thank you very much for the comment☺️♥️

The musician was doing a form of throat singing I believe which is centuries old. Tengri is very traditional in one way but still blends in new feeling to music. Where as Dimash is blending old ways into more modern music. I think it might be what drew them together. Amazing performance and reaction from you both.

Indeed it was Throat singing, Mongol style (3 different styles are known), Altai Kai is another one (Altai Mountain Area). Tengri is a Mongol (or a Uighur I guess). He´s well known since the 80th. Both together, with the Mongol Band, was really a ear feast. I love Asian Folk music, like throat.

@@catotnnessen8554 If you think about it, they mixed mongolian traditional singing with just a touch of turkic melisma with operatic singing and boring normal singing in Kazakh, Mongolian and Mandarin XDDDDDD

@@catotnnessen8554 I love it, watching people reacting to Dimash and succumbing to him one by one...no one ever walks away and says they'll never listen to him again unless their musical tastes are set in stone or they're too distracted to give the song their full attention. Others are set in their ways and too defensive to change in front of other people. I've actually met people like that. Usually after hearing him for the first time they look up his videos on RU-vid and get themselves hopelessly mired in his music, or fall in love with him because of his Prince Charming personality and heartmeltingly handsome appearance. I also like to see fellow Dears helping the situation along by introducing their friends and watching them fall for him hook, line and sinker. I think I'm chatting with a guilty party here Cato...but you're not reading this right now, I'll bet you're scouring your contact list, planning the enslavement of more innocents...naughty naughty....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Grazie per la vostra reazione, sono due cantanti stupendi, si, all'inizio quello strano suono è fatto con la gola più che la voce, è una tecnica di canto usato in Mongolia e si chiama Hoomii, gli strumenti usati sono strumenti della cultura Mongola, la prima parte della canzone cantata da Tengri è cantata in cinese , la parte di Dimash è cantata in Kazako, la seconda parte Tengri canta nella sua lingua madre, Mongolo, Dimash in cinese, una canzone magnifica cantata da due magnifici cantanti

Hi, Cato. I'm really enjoying you and Agnes together. Very nice development! In this performance, Tengri sang his verse in Mongolian. Dimash sang his first verse in Kazakh. Then, when they come down the stairs, both of them switch to singing in Chinese. Two amazing artists, I love them both. And the band with their traditional Mongolian folk instruments and throat singing? Beyond awesome!

Thanks for the info as well, I actually had no idea that they switched between languages, so that is very good to know! The whole production was just incredible and I can't even believe that it is possible to make that sound with a human voice!😀

You should show her Dimash's "Hello" from Singer 2018, with Tengri watching in the backstage shots. Also Tengri's "Heaven", Hua Chenyu and KZ Tandingan from Singer 2018, and of course Dimash's "S.O.S." from Singer 2017.

Please react to Daybreak from Dimash in bastau concert is one of very very best perfomance of Dimash. The story behind the song is about a couple who sacrifice themselves to save their son in terrible accident where several people died. The composer of a song adopted the child and wrote a song to commemorate the couple sacrifice. It's very emotional song and dimash did sublime rendition in bastau.

Agnese and Cato, it's so obvious that you're both genuinely attuned to music and the nuances, and that music actually moves you. It's a wonderful thing to see. Please don't stop reacting. Thank you very much for your sincere reaction. I agree: it is a kind of magic and delivering emotions beyond the words. The lyric of this song is very simple like “the grass is green” etc. But emotions are great: you can feel the spring coming, imagine the smell of the step, hear the wind and it all together makes you happy. Magical performance of two amazing masters of singing!

The song is indeed emtional I also cant’t understand it but I realy could feel the emotion and sadness. I understand that Tengri wrote this after he had a child when he was 44 years old and he lost this child at the age a young age from a disease. Very unfortunate 😢

You really appreciate good music! You could hear the Mongolian throat singing at the beginning and the beautiful instrumentation. That already captivates you. According to a commenter who I assume is in the know, Tengri and Dimash were singing alternately in Chinese, Kazakh and Mongolian. But, no matter the language, your faces light up during the performance. Again, you're feeling the song!

아이카AIKA kazakh and turkey has same ancestors. They were lived in Mongolia and still some kazakh people lives in Mongolia as well

That is a fair statement! Compared to DImash, Tengri's voice is inferior, but I just find him very fascinating for some reason😊

Thank you Cato. Agree? it is interesting to hear different sound for the first time. I hope Dimash can sing his own song from now on instead of singing other people song. Of cos there are many reasons he has to do that.......duties.....obligations....but he can write and compose. His work will express more about him, his style.....all great singer sing their own. I like the songs that are written by him more.

It is a very traditional Chinese song. Tengri sang it in Mongolian and Chinese while Dimash sang it in Kazakh and Mandarin Chinese. They really sing together we'll due to the fact that both of them are traditional and proud of their ancestry.
