Hi Lucia, I'm Portuguese and I'm 60 years of age, I have never in my entire life come across such an incredible talent! I have said before to some people that he sounds like a full orchestra of angels at times, I'm sure as many prove say his an alien, I believe his an angel sent from heaven to bless us with his talent ! Честно, мне больно было слушать как поет Димаш , такую песню изрезали, и испортили устроители этого конкурса, Димашик молодчина и здесь он вышел победителем,песня эта шедевр. Жюри не поняли наверное, что они сделали.... Бривисимо!!!!!дорогой ты наш!!!!! Спасибо!!!!

Dimash moves the mic around because a lot of people think he is lip syncing. The costume is from his country. The beginning music was actually from the previous performance that he did which was a song from his country. Dimash is excellence. Dimash is pure. A wonderful human.

Thanks for your wonderful reaction. Dimash is wearing his Kazakhstan costume because he sang a song right before All By MySelf. The show cut out that part due to time restrictions and so you are actually hearing the last part of his performance. He was hoping to share he song Daididau which is a tradition song he holds close to his heart. He loves to share his country and their culture to rest of the world. He probably was disappointed that they did not show his entire performance. But the show has its rights to do what they have to, to keep the show moving along. Sad for us fans because we love it when he sings Daididau. Please continue to listen to more performances by this amazing young man.🎼🎶🎤❤️🇺🇸

ChristianneBostaphBostaph Bostaph Why didn't they release his full version on their site or allow him to put it on his site? He announced on Instagram he was going to sing it and then removed it once it aired and they cut every foreign word. This is not America's got talent. Why didn't they cut All By Myself and leave the other? Why haven't they allowed him to post the full version to his site since this was taped in October? World's Best is not world's best, it is a turd. They did not announce the show's format ahead of time, we hear week by week and if we, the Dimash Dears, can see what they are doing to his music then what are they doing to the other acts? This is pathetic to have a stunt woman or a UFC Champ vote on Dimash's singing when they have no idea what it takes for him to sing the way he does, nor does Drew or Ru or probably not even Faith. I have no clue if she knows what 20 years of classical study takes. Or playing 7 instruments or sing in over a dozen languages and speak 2 fluently and 2 more passably (and on the road to being fluent in them-Mandarin and English). With a degree in music and continuing his education. I am not belittling her singing but she might as well be the Mongolian Country singer... She just knows English.

Janet Stafford When they tape these kinds of shows they have to edit them later for the commercials and so they most likely chose All By Myself because that was what fit into the time slot. I am sure all the contestants knew of this and nothing could be done. Dimash must not of seen the show before it was aired so that is why he posted on his IG but then removed it afterward. I too was sorry to that they did this, however nothing can be done about it now. Dimash is the best and deserves the best. 🎼🎶🎤❤️

It would be simple to allow the contestants to post their full versions. It would allow the rest of the world to see what is being judged. Right now we just see a chopped version from all the contestants. I still think this is a poorly formatted show and they didn't think this out well.

Janet Stafford Most likely because it it the property of CBS and it would have something to do with copyright issues. I know many of fans have asked CBS to release the full version but are still waiting to see if they will. Maybe after the show ends they would be more willing to share the entire videos. Now this is all speculation on my part, but it is the only thing that makes sense.😊

Yes it's kazach outfit. Rakmet means thank you in kazach. And welcome to the world of our dear prince Dimash. Dimash is not fluent in English thsts why he has interpreter but now he is studying English because he is preparing himself if he will go to other countries he knows how to speak English. But he speak Russian language. Yes I'agree with you Dimash deserve 50-50-50 points. For 3 judges. And that's why I like this man he is very humble, gentlemen especially to the Elders.

Thank you Lucia for explaning why Dimash do that kind of gesture to the microphone moving so that we will know that Dimash is singing live. I heard that one of your favorite singer also Lara Fabian, in I'm a singer 2017 I hope i can hear your reaction to Dimash from episode 1-14. He sing Adagio by Lara Fabian pls. Thank you. The part about microphone movement is important but might not be well-known to the non-singers in the Wall of the World. My FAVORITE mike moment is right near the end when he pulls the mike in one direction and his head in another. Spectacular and dramatic. His eyes are engaging the audience at that moment as well.

Love your reaction. You are so sweet and knowledgeable. Dimash is absolutely amazing! His vocals are insane! I love the way he sings and performs! He always gives all of himself when he performs. He is the world's best! I read someone's reaction that parts of Faith's comment were cut, and that's why it came across as negative, implying that Dimash isn't giving his all when he performs. Of course, those of us who have been following Dimash and watching all of his performances since The Singer, and after Singer, know full well that he ALWAYS gives his all when he sings... even when he's sick!!! He is not only a killer singer and performer, but he sings with so much passion!!! And, he is a sweet, humble, and respectful young man. And, he loves and appreciates his Dears (his worldwide fans). I would love for you to react to all of his performances on The World's Best, and his performances on The Singer 2017, and all the others after The Singer. Have a lovely day!!

Per chi conosce bene , sottolineo bene , Dimash , sa benissimo che Lui canta sempre LIVE anche se non giocasse con il microfono, non ho MAI visto una sua performance in cui cantasse in playback ,( o , visto che ora amano tutti fare gli esperti, usare il Lipsinck, non so nemmeno come si scrive :)) , E' un fenomeno , mi dispiace molto per coloro che non riescono a capire quale fantastico cantante lui sia. Io sono contento di aver fatto la scelta di ascoltarlo , continuerò ad ascoltarlo e a sostenerlo fino alla fine delle mie forze. Grazie Dimash.

Love ur professional interpretations, very sharp. Love your knowledge of other singers, Celine Dion, and how Dimash compares to them. U don't give shade to Dion, just love and facts. Would't it be great if they did a duet? Dimash has so many performances on RU-vid. Hope you review more.

I think the mic technique had it's origins in the fact that he was accused of lip sync, to the point where his mic was allegedly switched off at Sochi. It has such a nice effect that he uses it quite often. He is a true master with a mic, the way he flawlessly balances his voice. Sometimes it is so far away that the volume of his voice must be tremendous (see SOS Slavic Bazaar 2018). Thanks for your reaction. It was very entertaining

Leonie Coetzer the higher the note the more volume it will appear to have. So as he goes upward in a run to keep the volume sounding the same often you need to lower the volume of your voice. In Dimash’s case he most likely also moves the microphone away further as well to help. My guess there at least.

@@maykachaphan6909 I wasn't referring to adjusting the distance of the mic to balance the volume. It's the shaking back and forth. He first started doing that after all the lip sync allegations but everyone loves it so now it became a trademark

Thank you Lucia. A source who was in the audience said that Dimash sang two songs in a row; the first was Daididau [Kazakh], then, All By Myself. That's why Dimash was wearing traditional formal Kazakh attire. Also, many believe that Dimash himself thought that Daididau would be aired. The world's best show edited out that entire first song. Very disappointed with the show, in that all the performances are so short.

Questo momento è stato veramente grandioso!!! Infatti anch'io sono una grande fan di Céline Dion, Lara Fabian e tanti altri, ma da quando ho sentito questo ragazzo di 24 anni, con quella potenza, passione, che ti trasmette una emozione cosi forte, che ti viene da piangere in continuazione... Sono senza parole!!!... È vero che tanti hanno criticato che lui non canta ma urla, ho fa il lippsync, per me non capiscono proprio niente!? Ma lui soffia via Céline è anche bravissimi tenori via dal palcoscenico!!! Ma chi ha veramente orrechi x sentire deve sentire che nel suono più alto che lui canta, non soltanto il suono vibra meravigliosamente è liberamente... Che c'è posto per un altro suono più alto!!! Se continua a evolvere in questa direzione verrà il momento che soltanto i animali l'ho sentiranno cantare perché noi esseri umani, con l'udito limitata to non c'è la faremo più!? Grazie Lucia, bellissima reazione come sempre. Dimash in questa occasione ha superato se stesso, ha dimostrato che lui non urla, come in molti affermano, ma canta. le opinioni dei giudici sono appunto loro opinioni, e vanno rispettate , ma e' bene che sappiano che Dimash mette di suo in ogni cosa che canta e che la stella e' nata già da molto tempo.

Yes he was in National Kazakh dress. It has a bit more embellishments than normal. I did research into his country. I like to learn about people that inspire me. They have a national treasure called the golden man. He is in golden armour. I believe the colour referenced this and the embellishments were to give it an armoured feel. Can’t say I am 100% correct or not. I just know how proud he is of his country and that was what it made me think of. Lovely reaction as always. I enjoy hearing your thoughts as a singer and performer. Thank you.

I was born in Kazakhstan. Not sure if you're 100% correct, but nice research! The outfit is definitely something we're proud of. Keep in mind that his parents are also wearing it. If you follow GGG for boxing, he also comes into the ring with the same outfit. Cheers :)

A B yes, I noticed his parents were wearing I am guessing the more “normal” traditional wear. Dimash’s just made me think of the Golden Man I saw it was going on loan out of country. Which is amazing as it will only bring more recognition to Kazakhstan. I love learning about other cultures. Might have something to do with my living in 7 different countries in my lifetime. 😊

There s a video where Dimash is singing with both of his parents (grandparents are in the audience) you could see where his natural talent comes from that they nurtured from a very early age.

I’m not really surprised that Faith Hill didn’t appreciate this performance. She is a country singer, and singers in that genre don’t usually put on the dramatic displays that Dimash does in most of his performances. If I’m honest, I too sometimes wish that he would just sing without all the dramatics. But this is a competition, isn’t it? Everyone needs to bring their best game to it. As for RuPaul’s “A star is born” - pfft! Dimash was already a star in many countries around the world, including China, one of the largest, but of course that doesn’t count. 🙄 Greetings from Florida.
