I love the respect both of you show to his culture, the song and Dimash 🙏🏻 He always deliver songs with emotion, but this song is truly special for him. His goal is to show the culture of his homecounty to the rest of the world. It shows me how proud he is of Kazachstan and the values him is given by his parents. We can only admire that.

Grammys, Oscars, everything - he deserves all, doesn’t he? Igor composed this song and Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics. Now imagine how Dimash must have felt that one of his idols wrote lyrics for him.

Today was National Dombra Day in Kazakhstan. Dimash is a beautiful gift to the world with his art and a treasure to his country.

In English, we say his country as "Ka - zak - stan," but spell it with an H (Ka - zakh - stan). I think the "KH" is an H produced farther back in the mouth, a sound we don't have in English. His people are Kazakh (Ka - zak), and they speak the Kazakh language. The 2-stringed Kazakh lute is a dombra (dom - bra, with a long "o"). Dimash loves his people!

On 07/01/20 Dimash defended his thesis with praise in his master's degree in composition. Our little king more and more in the clouds of prosperity not only in his profession but in his precious life. Dimash is a wise boy, he knows deeply the history of his country, (when in 1991 he managed to free himself from Russia), his composers, poets, philosophers are a lover of his family, his brothers, grandparents, and he is immensely proud of his parents.
