После этой песни , я поняла, что столько потеряла в своей жизни,что не знала ,какие душевные и красивые казахские песни , хотя молодость прошла в далёкие годы в СССР. Вернуть бы это все назад , но нет.... А...Димашик это сделал с лёгкостью .... я наслаждаюсь его голосом, и говорю ,спасибо родной ты наш!!! Ребята, спасибо вам за такую реакцию... Спасибо, ребята. После этой песни, которую он пел в 7-м туре I’m Singer, Димаш сказал, что-то считает свою миссию выполненной. Он всегда мечтал, чтобы у него появилась возможность донести до мира казахскую мелодию, песню, культуру. С песней Дайдидау, по сути, и открылась эта возможность. Мы его очень любим и ценим:)

The musicians behind Dimash came from Kazakhstan to accompany Dimash with Kazakh instruments and in national costumes...This meant so much to him...it was one of his dreams, that while on the singer show, he could present a Kazakh song for the audience....Dimash is so elegant in his national costume...I think this is when he became our Prince....

Dimash actually says that he is getting to make his dream come true by sharing this song with the world.. I think it's the bastau concert he breaks down and cry's singing this song on stage cause the audience sings with him.. beautiful song

Beautiful song....beautiful performance by Dimash. From what I understand, Daididau was the nickname he used for his wife. If you want to watch on your own (not as a reaction to the same song) him singing this at his Bastau concert, you will absolutely LOVE it also! It happens to be my very favorite of all his performances as it includes a very surprising beginning and a wonderful, emotional ending by Dimash. I hope you watch it! I recommend you to listen to the compositions of your own composition of the youngest composer-pianist from Kazakhstan BEISEKOZHA NURALI, who is now 12 years old. The young composer has more than 80 classical works of his own composition. Unique music! Especially I recommend to listen to compositions of the young composer pianist from Kazakhstan BEISEKOZHA NURALI under the name "School waltz" and " the Flashed star"

PLEASE also use the story & performance with subtitles from the channel Gloria Wu for Daybreak. It is VERY emotional & it includes not only the reason for the song but it shows the problem Dimash had the day of the performance. There is a small part of the performance with a glitch but it is very important to use that performance for the sake of seeing the story & the subtitles.

Dimash's beautiful arrangement of this traditional Kazakh folk song, the musicians are his university classmates, the costumes were made in a couple of days for them when they agreed to be flown to China to join him for this very important performance, it meant so much to Dimash. See his Bastau version, he becomes so emotional he is in tears at the end and broke down for a second or two before becoming the consummate professional that he is and carried on. It's one of my favourite songs of his and he sings it at every performance 💖

If you watch Ep.8 "Daybreak" be sure to use Gloria Wu's version for that one too. Besides providing Eng. subs, her intro describes the background of the story, and goes into the dramatic story of Dimash losing his voice the day before having to sing.

Dimash has stated that his goal is to bring Qazaq culture to the world. He said that he wanted to perform this song on Singer (to millions of people), even if he was voted out of the competition afterwards. The second time this song was performed was his hometown, during his first solo concert, Bastau, in front of a sold out audience of 30k to 40k people. That performance is extremely powerful, and (he almost) cried at the end of the song. Actually, the Bastau performance was "Adai + Daididau". The Ace Zone guys, thank you for your reactions! I would like to make one correction in the video you watched, i.e. prehistory or background for the song. I've noticed this subtitle on the video saying "Western colonial expansion took away their independence", that's NOT true, it was Russia and nobody calls Russia as Westerns! Russians killed over 2 mln Qazaqs (Genocide!) back in the 30's, and didn't stop with of course, they occupied many territories of our country, which is called OCCUPATION! Nowadays, Russia is our main ally, but we, Qazaqs, don't want to have anything common with Russia! We have millions of Russians living in our country, we LOVE them, but they are Qazaq Russians, their mentality is different from the Russia's russians (that's what they say when visiting Russia :-))
