I love Confessa! It's a shame this was the only time he ever sang part of that song. He started it in Mandarin and switched to Italian. So beautiful and a heartbreaking song...probably why the dancer was added. The last line he sang..."Whoever does not love will never be loved." Diva Dance, he finally sang in an alien language!😂🤣 There are videos of him singing the whole song but only in parts.

In Singer there was every week new performance, and in between also some other obligations. And so for three month. Besides, if I understood his mother right, he didn’t have such huge (international) repertoire and so in one week they did the music arrangement and he has to learn lyrics (also in English and Chinese- since he spoke fluently only Kazakh and Russian) All together quite a pressure 😏

"Confessa" is about him leaving the woman (the dancer), who was cheating on him. In the Singer "Diva Dance", his voice still wasn't 100%, so he left out the hard descending run, which he included in the Bastau performance. In the movie, it was voice samples played on a keyboard.

Hi there Nate! Nice reaction, lighthearted just enough to compensate for the Italian drama. Yeah, there is actually a number of "Diva Dance" performances by 💖Dimash💖. He never ever sings it twice the same way, as if each version got rancid or something once he sang it into submission. What gets to me most is the clean cut at the decay phase of many notes (you would add a dot on top in the partiture). But you hinted at a far wider transformation. Suddenly all pianos need a) retuning and b) two octaves must be added at the high end. Now THAT's business. This phenomenon is a close analog of the D8 consequences. The poor pianos who cannot defend themselves became baritonized (?) as well. I can almost hear piano manufacturers covertly rubbing their hands after.your reaction. Thanks again for your reaction, you're great company when watching Dimash perform!

I am pretty sure the dancer was Dimash because in later videos you will see a number of times that one or more dancers are in them. Next up on Singer is Dimash and Laure Tribute to MJ which of course is THE MJ (Dimash's idol). She is a guest Laure Shang who now works at the record label in China that Dimash signed with. During the tribute Dimash plays the 3rd out of the 7 instruments he can play & they show his dad & mom in the front row when he finishes playing the instrument & at the end of the tribute. He does a tribute to MJ at every concert & he wrote a song as a tribute titled Give Me Your Love that is different from Give Me Love.

It is spectacular, it can really be achieved! The original version of Diva Dance as far as I know was made and improved by computers for the film, in order to sound like something half alien, and according to statements by its creator, about Dimash's version, said it was the best there was heard so far, that Dimash had not only managed to recreate it but had improved it !!! I think that recognition is really something remarkable !! I still have to listen to Episode 5 where it makes the UPTOWN FUNK version of Bruno Mars, which is very good, you can not ignore it. It is a Dimash different from what we usually see but it fits very well, and shows that it can do everything.

Interesting thing is the Bastau performance sounds better and it came at the end of a 2+ hour concert. In case you didn't notice, the first part of Confessa he sang in Chinese and then went to the original Italian. From what I remember the song is about a man who finds out his lover is having an affair. Love the doubles! Thanks again for your reactions!

The diva dance bastau video which already had millions of views was suddenly deleted around a month ago, I think. He has another diva dance performance in shenzhen where he hits a really high note.

The low note is F2. He can sing F2 to D8. Also, if you recently watched the clip from the movie you likely noticed the artificial notes used to achieve the staccato parts.

Loved your reaction. The diva dance in the 5th element was supposedly mostly computer generated; a human is not considered able to sing it. Dimash did, and I have also heard a couple others who sung it very well. Pretty cool though, I never never get tired of it. Anyway you may want to research this yourself. There's a Shenzhen concert version for Diva Dance where he did equal or better (depends on your preference). It's a fancam, though, if you don't mind. He did a whistle instead of the clean run!

1st song he sang in Chinese few words then continues in Italian.. 2nd song he is challenging the machine sounds.. AMAZING DIMASH.. 20 years of training sing the age of 2/3.. plays many musical instruments as well
