Hilarious how so many people claim with every song that THAT was the best thing they had seen from him, and the next song they watch, definitely is the best, and the following really is the best, so, it means every song is the best at that moment….and as a result they all seem the be the best at the end, although it is, thank God, a never ending story…

Yup, that was amazing. At first, I was dissappointed when we were told he was working on some Jazz songs, but mostly because I was hoping he would go towards Rock or Metal next. I am not a Jazz fan but I find that this song is growing on me. The Dimash magic, I suspect. Great reaction but you need to get out to a chiropracter to fix that neck issue.😂🤣🙄🤣 before the Dimash jazz causes further injury.😏😂🤣😅 🥰🥰Hugs from Canada🇨🇦

I always joke that Dimash swallowed Pavarotti, Freddie Mercury, Montserrat Caballé and Yma Sumac but after this I think that in addition he swallowed Stevie Wonder too. Stevie is still among us though.

I have to admit I had a hard time with this at first. The beautiful folk melody was so stuck in my head the switch up was a hard adjustment. But after more listens....now its one of my favorites. It's brilliant. And Dimash pulled it off with authentic jazz/funk vibe right to the very last note. His lower register is to die for. Dimash is the singers' singer. That PhD should be a piece of cake at this point. Thanks for the great reaction. Enjoyed__

The instrument is the Dombra, and he is a multi instrumentalist...We shouldn't be surprised that he's jazzing it up - he studied it (though often that wouldn't mean much). Dimash updated a beautiful Kasaja folk song by adding touches of funk and jazz, as only he knows how. The string instrument he plays at the beginning is called DOMBRA and is typical of Kazakhstan and Turkic countries. Bravo Dimash!!!!

Thank you. That is a Dombra. A traditional 2 stringed instrument that is considered the soul of Kazakhstan. The majority of Kazakhs have one and know how to play it. The 1st part is gorgeous, then Dimash jazzes it up and it is very fun :). He is amazing.

I always love your reactions. I love this jazz side of Dimash. He studied jazz in college, but it still is a surprise that he take an old Kazak folk song and changes it to a jazz song. What will be next? Only Dimash knows.

Oh man, I LOVED your reaction so much! Isn't this WILD? There is nothing this ingenious man cannot do musically NO-THING I tell you!
