Dimash speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, and is studying Chinese/English. He sings however in 12 different languages. Just thought i'd throw that out FYI

The best order to watch Dimash is by date... so the singer 2017 performances, 1 to 13... You just watched the first one but there are 12 more episodes. He was sick due to jetlag / fever because he flew from Kazakhstan to China but.... boy does he get better and better each week preparing a new song. He actually came in 2nd ironically [obviously don't agree with it] but the first place winner is very good and worth checking out. After those 12, you have many performances from his Bastau 2017 concert or Gakku late 2017 concert. Unforgettable day where he sings the highest note has has sung live. He also came back to the Singer 2018 to perform Hello from Lionel Richie. Also Sinful Passion at the end of 2018 along with him singing the Love of Tired Swans at the Kremlin. Then you have a few others like Mademoiselle Hyde and Love is Like a Dream live performances after his performance on World's Best. He has an album that went platinum in less than a minute oversees and he just had his Arnau concert a few months ago. It was absolutely unbelievable and his best to date. Finally to really top it off, he has a few original songs with music videos on his main channel. Akkuym / My Swan is my favorite... There are more performances I did not mention... I mean he raps... plays drums... sings is over 10 languages... won many international competitions... plays so many instruments, composes, arranges... the more I learn about the man the more I'm impressed and I've seen it all. :)

Loly thank you for doing your homework. This session just showed how an artist can be possibly compromised into doing something that does not feel right. Dimash was the youngest singer on the show and from another country, they thought they could tell him what to do. Little did they know the expertise & skills he possessed. He is university trained in classical as well as in contemporary music and is known for his wide vocal range of 6 octaves, from D2 to D8 . Genre: Crossover music, Folk music, Operatic pop, Pop music, World music. When he sings he brings his own flavor, color, feeling to any song he sings. And on some occasions he brings in his cultural flair. Just freakin' beautiful. I loved your reaction. Keep going you're on a roll, as one "Dear said-It's the LOVE TRAIN for Dimash".

Dimash is fluent in Kazakh and Russian, passable (better now) in English with a smattering of Mandarin though he has been known to have performed in at least 12 languages. He can ding like other singers but no singers on this planet can sing like Dimash. Why? Because in order to sing like Dimash, those singers must be able to sing the part of at least 3-4 singers in a,m single song SOLO......and LIVE.....the way he has done countless times and is still doing. Keep digging and you'll understand why he's been given names like Eight Wonder Of The World, Vocal God, Beast, Voice Magician, Alien, Monster, Powerful Angel.....and he don't merely sing. He's the complete package.....enotions, expressions, colours, timbers, dynamics, range, genres, everything.....music oozes from his pores.

Fantastic reaction! There is a LOT to process while watching Dimash perform. His amazing range is what most people notice, but it's the colors and textures within those ranges that sets him apart from the rest. He draws you in, and you become a part of the story. Please continue with the Singer 2017 series, and see his progression. There are a couple of songs that aren't his best, Daybreak (he was sick and had lost his voice just prior to performing) and Diva Dance. Those should be viewed from his Bastau concert. Then you begin his more recent performances. Pop single Screaming, cover of Sinful Passion with original band (A-Studio), Love of Tired Swans and Love is Like A Dream (Igor Krutoy). You have barely scratched the surface of Dimash's amazing talent. Enjoy!!!

This is so good thank you. I was sure that he did this without anybody telling me. He has two masters in classical and contemporary music. The song is French and he sings in French. He sings in twelve languages and plays nine instruments so he can tell every instrument what to play. I knew this already. I was sure he not only sang covers abpndoriginal songs written by himself and other people. He is no flash in the pan. At 23 years old he seen a lot of music. The university has an office for him. He is still studying at 25 and had an internship at a university in Los Angeles.
