Hallo Dears, ich war am vorigen Wochenende in Prag. Nach zwei langen Jahren konnte ich endlich zum Dimash-Konzert nach Prag fahren. Ich bin immer noch geflasht und aufgeregt. Ich habe mit den vielen Dears geweint und gelacht, gesungen und gejubelt. Dimash singt jeden einzelnen Song fehlerlos (was auch sonst) und interagiert auf wunderschöne, emotionale Weise mit dem Publikum. Ich wollte, dass es nie endet und will auf jeden Fall wieder zu einem seiner nächsten Konzerte gehen.

Ich finde ihn wahnsinnig schön und habe mich damals extrem gefreut, dass Dimash neben der chinesischen, jetzt auch noch die japanische Version dieses Meisterwerks herausbrachte. Hi :) Ich hatte am Samstag das absolute Vergnügen ihn Live in Prag zu erleben. Gänsehaut vom ersten Moment an. Die letzten zehn Minuten sprang er wie ein Flummy in Socken über die Bühne, hatte so viel Spaß dabei und traf trotzdem jeden Ton^^ Das Publikum bekam sogar einen 10minüten Gesangsunterricht XD Es war toll! Wenn du die Möglichkeit hast, ihn dir anzusehen, mach das! Es lohnt sich absolut :) Liebe Grüße aus Leipzig

This is the Japanese song that Dimash sang in Singer as the song "Autumn Strong" the Chinese version for this song. About a Chinese actress during WW2 who was discovered to actually be a Japanese born individual who hid her identity and though she was well loved by the Chinese people she was deported to Japan and never allowed to return to China. A sad but true story. ( the words and music are different but telling the same story both are as laments ) This could be all wrong but this is what I was led to understand. So sorry if I am wrong.

Drei Stunden Show ohne Pause, der Junge ist live tausendmal besser! Bei seinen Konzerten ist es nie langweilig, da er nicht nur in einem Genre singt, ist für jeden was dabei, und diese Power!!!! Sehr empfehlenswert, Atmosphäre super, volle Verbundenheit mit dem Publikum. Und Publikum war sehr bunt: jedes Alter und Nationalität vertreten. Es war einfach spitze! Danke Dir, wünschte dass so ein Unikat bei uns in Deutschland mehr bekannt wäre!
This had to be live-streamed for the Tokyo Jazz Festival because of travel restrictions due to Covid. This is the Japanese version of Autumn Strong, which he sang in Mandarin on the show The Singer 2017. Japanese reactors were amazed at how perfect his Japanese pronunciations were. As perfect as he sounds to us, he still trains vocally for 3-5 hrs. a day every day. He started music school at the age of five and his grandparents found he had perfect pitch at the age of three. Dimash immerses himself in his music and somehow brings us into it with him. This song is still my favorite of all time. Thank you so much.

We don't call ourselves Dears, Dimash calls us his Dears because he says we are as Dear to him as his family. He means that, he loves us just as much, maybe even more than we love him, and that is an enormous amount of love going both ways ❤️💘💖 a shame you are only interested in his high notes. Won't be watching again

Try listening to Kieli Meken by Dimash. I don't know if that would be quite what you are looking for, but it does have a different vibe from many of his performances.

I absolutely love this one, so much so that I actually learned the Japanese lyrics to it. I can now sing along with it (nowhere near as good as Dimash) but still....... Love your reaction, as always 👏👏💜

She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li Xianglan. She became famous in China during World War II. However, once the war was over and her identity was revealed, she was accused of being a spy and was deported to Japan. She didn't return to China for many years. Ms Yamaguchi did return to China in her later years as the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister of Environment. This song is saying goodbye to her Chinese name Li Xianglan. It is also a metaphor, as the lyrics speak of how a person has to hide what she feels inside. In 1993, Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung adapted it into Mandarin with the meaning of the song different from that of the original. He called it Late Autumn. In 2004 the Taiwanese singer and Dimash's friend, Terry Lin, adapted the song into a new Mandarin version entitled "Autumn Strong”. Dimash performed the Terry Lin version (Autumn Strong) when he participated in the 2017 The Singer competition in China. He sang it in Episode 4 of the competition and it was his first time singing in Mandarin. Regarding Dimash’s Japanese performance, a Japanese reactor said that Dimash’s pronunciation was perfect. It was as good as a native speaker’s. It shows how much of a perfectionist Dimash is and how many hours he must have spent on his pronunciation and delivery. In addition, Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to “Ikanaide” praised Dimash’s performance and said: “I’ve heard ‘Ikanaide’ sung by foreign singers in their native language many times. Even though they all sing great, none of them seemed to quite capture the sound/reverberation and meaning of the original lyrics and perceive the emotions between the lines. In this song, the phrase ~ Ah, ikanaide~ is repeated several times in the chorus. Although they are the same exact words, each line has a different meaning. “But this is the first time anyone has sung it so beautifully in Japanese. I happened to find Dimash singing “Ikanaide” by chance. The first thing that surprised me was his crystal clear tone and his expressive voice that conveys the lyrics of the song.”
There is a Chinese version of this song too called Autumn Strong that Dimash sings more often than this one. They are both based on a true story of a half Japanese half Chinese actress who lived in China & became very popular during World War 2 but after the war it was discovered she was half Japanese and sent back to Japan 😪 Very sad story.

Ikanaide und Autumn Strong: gleicher Song, unterschiedliche Sprachen. Bei seinen Konzerten und Düsseldorf und Prag hat er kurzerhand beide durcheinander gemischt. Es ist einfach irre und wenn er dann noch 2 Meter vom Mikrofon weggeht und die Halle trotzdem noch mit seiner Stimme ausfüllt, dann klappt einem nur noch die Kinnlade nach unten.
