Lulu, that was his intention. He constantly shocked the audience & the other contestants. This was episode 6 & when he went onto the stage he bowed to the audience & paused then he turned to the camera and smiled to say to the other contestants WATCH THIS then he walked to the piano & sat down to show the first of 3 that he played on the show of the 7 instruments he can play. Imagine a tall sexy man with his vocal range showing he can also play so many instruments & can sing in 12 languages. I always imagine being the woman he sings to. 🎶👱‍♀️😀💕

Adagio is originally a classical piece written by Albinoni, Adagio in D-minor. I love that version so much because I chose it to be played on my mother's funeral in 1992, so ofcourse I love Dimash's version as well. Hugs from Sweden.

Lulu, he always pulls out his earpiece when something special is coming right away or soon. John, there is a recent version at 1 of his recent concerts where his English is a lot better. He has also been improving his Mandarin & dance and there is a lot of performances lately with dancers now that he is so good compared to 2017. 🎶👱‍♀️😀💕

Actually, Dimash won his first award at age 6 in a piano competition....and he also plays the guitar, drums, cello, xylophone, and the Kazakhstan national instrument..the "Dombra"...I think I am forgetting something..someone will add it for me........Lara Fabian sang the original version....Dimash did not speak English at the time of this performance...and I will take umbrage with those who disparage his linguistic capabilities....

Yes, he can play 7 instruments and sings in 12 languages. He won his first award at 6 in piano playing competition. I don't think it's doble-cara because it's a solo song and it's his different tones that's falsetto. Doble-cara is when one singer sings both male and female parts (duet) like Marcelito Pomoy does.

Doble Kara is 2 faced or singing male female parts. Dimash sings in a variety of tones and uses multiple registers. He is always singing as himself. Marcelito Pomoy does Doble Kara where he sings both sides of a duet and in his case sings to sound like the original singer. Dimash has no intention of sounding like anyone but himself it is just that hi higher registers often have a lightness to them that sound feminine. Wonderful reaction to the song. Adagio is a persons name in the song 😊

Whatever country the song originated, Dimash tries to sing it in(except Adagio which he wanted to sing in English).
