I have been to his concert in NYC & he sang songs right after another. His concerts are almost 3 hours long & it is full of energy. I can’t wait to see him in another concert.

Dimash was invited as a guest singer that year to celebrate the ending of that year's competition. The people in the lit room were the competitors. Dimash competed in 2017 as a wild card. It was the first time the show had a foreigner compete. It was created to showcase established Chinese singers. He was invited again in 2019. He performed with one of the groups competing called, The Super Vocal Boys. They did an amazing medley tribute to Queen. The Singer program is what gained him his fame and he is forever grateful to the Chinese fans for their support

You won't be listening to his music on the radio or seeing him often on Western television, but this artist's fan base is larger and more loyal than some of the most famous and international pop stars. People will fight you online if you pronounce the wrong name, your fans will spend hours watching your videos, opening fan clubs around the world and leaving long comments on RU-vid with the story of each song. They are obstinate and well prepared. My question was necessary at this point. What made these people so close to him, and what does he have that other artists don't? He doesn't need paid advertising because his fans will do it for free. They genuinely love this artist so much that they want to make him known at all costs. Some claim he provides them to overcome depression, others say he has changed their lives with his music, some fans even believe he is an angel or a superhuman. I never heard a man use this technique before Dimash. Sorry Mariah, but her whistles are incredible. You just need to listen to his songs for yourself, because it is impossible to explain this talent with words. His vocal range is incredible. Its length is 6 octaves and 5 semitones, ranging from a low A1 to an incredible D8. Observing this, the highest note male record is an F # 8 and Dimash is only 3 semitones from him, I wonder if one day he would try to beat the record. Another thing that caught my attention, was the perfect pitch always impeccable . The American show increased the popularity of the Kazakh singer abroad, so much so that one of his songs, in Kazakh language, debuted on MTV USA in October 2020. The love for his country and his honesty are always visible in all his performances. Each of his concerts always includes cultural aspects related to his country, such as the use of private instruments for accompaniment or traditional clothing and singing styles. I think the choice to sing in your native language was anything but casual. I believe that one of his goals is to increase the popularity and recognition of his country. After gathering my thoughts, I realized that I was right about my assumptions. Your last Instagram post just mentioned: It is necessary to understand that I have become who I am now, mainly thanks to Kazakhstan. Because I grew up in Kazakhstan, I ate Kazakh dishes, I studied with a Kazakh vocal educator, I was raised in a Kazakh family. And the main stimulus that moves me is my nation and my country! After all, I think we have now answered my previous question. What made this artist so close to his fans? And what does he have that others don't? An incredible voice is not enough today. I flew 11 hours to see Dimash in New York at his 1st USA solo concert on December 10, 2019 at Barclays... he performed 20 songs in 6 languages and spoke to us in English in-between, changed outfits 4 times, jumped off stage to run around and interact with the crowd twice... and he sounded amazing to the very last note... this incredible "Arnau Envoy" concert is on his yt channel... and you can bet I'll travel anywhere to see Dimash live again :)

This song is easy for him, he doesn't need to rest. With a 6.5 octave range (possibly 7) he has been heard in his dressing room warming up before a concert singing "Queen Of The Night." This is possibly The most difficult Operatic soprano aria that there is. He then goes out and does a 3 hour show. Included is the song "Olimpico" which was written specially for him by Igor Krutoy. This is so difficult that no opera singer could sing it. He often practices 3 hours a day, and also swims lengths under water to improve his lung capacity. After the pandemic he's coming to the USA, I'd say 2-3 years and he'll be the biggest name in world music. He can do what everyone else can do, but Nobody can do what he can do. 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

He just did an online concert. It was amazing. He introduced Kazakhstan music and integrated eastern instruments with western music. He wants to win a Grammy for a Kazakhstan song. His latest MV is Golden. It’s a mini movie with a good beat and kind of main stream. He plans on moving to America. His dad runs his studio. Dimashali. I think Dimash will redefine music.

I attended the concert in New York in December 2019. He sang for about two hours forty-five minutes. He does take breaks during the show, but he also moves fairly quickly from one song to the next. Most of his breaks between songs he talks for a couple minutes. He also takes longer breaks for costume changes, and I am sure vocal breaks. His training helps him to do what seems to be impossible. This performance was the year after he competed on Singer 2017. He was invited back to sing on this episode the following year. He did a digital concert in January of this year, and the last song of the concert may just be his #1 hit internationally. It can't be found anywhere at this point. It actually took us all by surprise, he has never done anything like it, or even close to like it before. It is not your normal "pop" song either. He has hinted it should be publicly released soon. They will be releasing that concert on DVD, and probably a downlad in the near future. The best place to inquire about sending him material would be through DimashAli. He in in The Ukraine right now working on a project. I am sure that if you contacted his management team with a great song,...His arranger always looks at the arrangement...even with Igor Krutoy music (who is a billionaire). He said recently that his team is working with Korean, Chinese, Russian and American writers...believe it or not,... the Dears are trying to find someone to write a great SPANISH song for Dimash. He has Spanish fans begging for that to happen,...and he said he will do that someday. If you can write,...bring it!!!!!!! It is nearly 3 years since this "Hello" song and his English has improved enough to where he did his first all English interview (MTV Friday Night Livestreams with Kevan Kenney), without a translator by his side. His English has vastly improved. Rumor has it he will be getting his Doctorate degree in the States. He just recently finished his masters this last year.

Dimash won't dumb down music not even for a million dollars, he has integrity and in fact he left an American music contest because they didn't abide the rules, he walked away no problem for him and when records producers approach him with the wrong idea Dimash politely declined and then run in the opposite direction. He knows what his talent is and he honor God for giving him such a talent.

I don’t want to see Dimash go too commercial and lower his standards ....but instead lift listeners up. The American formulaic pop industrial hit machine needs to die. It’s so empty. Igor Krutoy, the famous Russian composer came out of retirement to work with him. They are a great team. Dimash brings a new breath of fresh air. Just because Dimash is not the typical radio fare means nothing in the realm of fans or success. Ask the Dears. Did you ever hear Pavoratti on the radio? Yet his concerts were always sold out. Look at the story of the rock band Rush. Same thing....die hard fans who have stood with them for 40 yrs as they were marginalized by the top 40 industry. And now.....they are being celebrated as master icons top of the mountain. Which they are. The industry kills art. It takes a steak and turns it into a Big Mac. This performance was a guest appearance on the Singer show the following year (2018) after his first competing on it in 2017. That first performance of SOS on the show brought him worldwide exposure and subsequent notoriety. A beautiful human being with a phenomenal gift. He works hard and has not wasted it. His charisma is undeniable. You can teach vocal technique, but you cannot teach the soul behind the voice.

You don't need to worry about Dimash becoming a " studio" performer. His recent MV ( should say mini movie ) is pretty much cyber punk stlye. He has concerts taped online, so you can watch exactly how he takes care of his voice. He does everything you suggested (substitute dancers for jugglers). He takes time to talk to the audience, he brings in other talent, he just keeps mixing it up - and he always gives himself time for a break. The Singer is one of the most difficult contests anywhere - it's open by invitation to established artists only. Dimash had already won a number of regional international competitions when he was tapped for this. He came to their attention after he performed for the Chinese premier at a diplomatic event in Kazakhstan. SOS was the first song he performed for that competition, and he blew everyone out of the water. The vid got over 50 million views overnight, and he woke up a superstar in China. He lived there, in Beijing, for 3 years, nailing it down. (His first album released in China went gold in 37 seconds). He had planned to limit himself to China for that time - but he got a call from Russian Igor Krutoy, a childhood hero, and couldn't refuse. In Dec of 2019 he had his first solo concert in the US (Barclays Center, sold out) and that was supposed to be part of a world wide tour that was stopped because of Covid. Rumors say he's headed to the US as soon as things are secure here. Watch his 12/2019 Barclays concert - he's not dumbing anything down, and he's getting the love. Complete with the audience singing his Kazakh song, Dididau, IN KAZAKH, with him. That astonished me, given our reluctance to engage in other languages... he's truly one of a kind.

Dimash describes singing as a sport. What you don't understand is that there is no push or strain in his voice, at all. Singing with dedication since age 5 as well as active in multiple sports, his ability is across the full spectrum of voice and is stunning. Dimash is already an international superstar whose first album went platinum in 37 seconds and triple that in 3 hours. He did a 2 plus hour concert in NY before the plague, which halted his tour.

He's really one of kind, isn't he? ❤ I feel what you're saying, but I really don't think he will become like that "main pop" type of singer you're talking about, since he values his abilities a lot and likes to have freedom to work on them... In 2018, he was not competing anyone. He was invited to perform for the end of 2018 The Singer Show. By the way, Jessie J won in 2018.

Mr. Harris: It looks like your dream of seeing him in concert is going to be happening next year. Dimash just announced on MTV his intention to move to the USA (probably to LA) to advance his career. Don’t worry about him getting the right song. He is already working with Walter Afanasieff to produce a new song for the US market. I’m sure that 2022-2023 will be the years that Dimash turns the US Music Industry on its head! If you know anything about Dimash [watch some of his interviews on YT], there is one thing of which you can be assured! Igor Krutoy is a pretty famous composer and even he is challenged by Dimash. Don't worry, he's too fanatical about the quality of music to sing dumb songs

We cannot evaluate Dimash on normal standards. 😅 His solo concerts were like almost 3 hours of perfection. But I heard he rested his voice for a full day before and after each concert, not talking to anyone. After each concert, he went back an. and rest while others in the team went out to celebrate. He's always very strict with himself.

By the way- he don't do competitions anymore. For Dimash compose/wrote songs Maestro Igor Krutoy, Walter Afanasieff,Lara Fabian and others. Dimash by himself composed more than 10 songs as well. If you check out Unforgettable day from Gakku festival (he composed this song,when he was 18/19 y.o.),you'll witness unbelievable D8 by Dimash,he held that note for 5 sec with vibrato. As you know, this whistle note is of the piano. Crowd of 150 000 witnessed this miracle. Dimash sings only what he likes. If he will like your song,he will sings it.😊

No, Dimash was e return guest of the Singer 2018. He was not competing this time. When I attended his NY concert last year, he had 5to 6 songs in a row than test for at least 15 minutes. He had a 3 hour show and it as a blast. Thank you Mr. Harris for a great reaction to Dimash performance. 😀

He does have some simpler songs in order to "rest" his voice and also to enable the audience to sing along. Otherwise it's just magic vocals song after song! I agree that he shouldn't "downgrade" in order to gain popularity (esp. in the US where he aims at next). 💕🇫🇮

There's one minute Instagram video cr. @zhongxindeying, where Lan Tianyang Dimash's vocal teacher from China in 2017 said about Dimash. - "Why can Dimash sing both highs and lows? Because he is born with big, strong and quick vocal chords. Dimash is a natural born singer unlike any other singer who can sing high notes. When Dimash reaches the high notes, his voice has a soft/tender quality whereas when other singers reach the high notes, their voices have a hard/rigid quality. The first guy was Hau Chenyu. A contestant on the 2018 Singer Contest. Jessie J won and Hau Chenyu came second. Hau Chenyu is a mega star in China. His Mars concerts sold out in minutes. Check out his songs 'Child' and 'Ordinary Path'. I'm from the UK and found him through Dimash.

Dimash already said, he’s not changing his style of music. He’s very happy of what’s he to music. The people in the light room they are competitors. He was at the singer on 2017. They asked him to come and sing a song in 2018 at the singer competition. He does Rest at his concerts .his concert it’s about 2 1/2 hour long and great.

It's a guest performance at the Singer show in China in 2018, where he competed the previous year. he was also a guest in 2019, when he performed "Queen Medley" with Super Vocal Boys. Dimash has whole concerts on his channel and on fan channels. He sings for 2 hours and more, with pauses with dancers or just his band or when he talks to the audience.

You say that for you it would be and it is physically impossible to have that quality singing for more than 45 minutes, Well, I inform you that Dimash's concerts always go from 2 hours to 4 hours of 100% live presentations, he interacts, sings and shares with the audience, which is certainly a huge physical wear and tear and still sounds like it's always the first song of the concert. Piergiuseppe Zaia an Italian Director, composer, writer, producer wrote the music score for Italian sci-fi, Creators -The past. He said the song Dimash sings at end credits of the movie was written especially for an orchestra and was adapted to Dimash's voice to present his full vocal range. To rehearse they had to hire three singers, to do the low voice, another for the mid range voice and another for the soprano high registers and present the song to Dimash, but the soprano couldn't hit the high register Dimash was able to sing. He calls it the Dimash scale which covers the entire range of the piano.

This is singer 2018, he was invited at the end of the competition Jessy J won singer 2018, Dimash was runner up in Singer 2017, this show is for well known professional singers not for amateur singers. Dimash was kind of experimental case, bc he was a professional singer but no one in china knew about him. The audience is the judge.

Dimash is not only the best singer but also an an credible human being with very strong ideals and values.

Mr Harris, you MUST watch Dimash's Opera 2 (2017 Singer version). It was so good that Vitas banned him from singing it again because it was so much better than the original. Not only that, but Dimash's stage presence was the greatest ever in that performance, and one of the strongest presence in any performance in human history. The way he plays with the audience is going down in the history books as legend. Based on the comments you made about what you like about Dimash, I think Opera 2 might be your favorite Dimash performance.

This was a year later than his first series in The Singer competition. This was the final episode of the 2018 season, a charity benefit for some ecological charity, so it was less stressful than the regular competition. They did compete in teams, and Dimash’s team won. The people in the back were his fellow competitors.
