I keep hearing his name and seeing reaction videos but had never listened or watched until now.... and WOW, what a freakin' voice! The quality, power, and range of his voice are amazing. I agree, i think Freddy would've been impressed.

He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. I really don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said in your previous reactions to him except I can say that I am so enamored with this guy and his talent that I had to write books about him. He’s a great focus to have when you’re retired and just enjoying life and all it has to offer. We endearingly call his speech "D-inglish". When he was on the show I am singer back in 2017, he hadn't sung in English before if I'm not mistaken. He had 1 week to learn the words to each song, and he sang in multiple languages over the course of the show. He tries to sing 1 song in the native language of each country where he performs a show. He's a Polyglot on several, but can learn the words to songs, and sing them, without any mistakes and that's in addition to the whole show itself. He's a perfectionist and practices every waking moment. You never hear him silent.

So the fellow competitor, that was wearing the black t shirt, that the camera focused on at the end of Dimash's permance was asked what he thought of Dimash and the translation of his answer was "fierce".
Dimash hasn't done that many covers which I'm actually quite grateful for as I'm definitely not a fan of the rather lazy way of getting yourself noticed by singing an already well known song. If I want to listen to a song I'll always go for the original version. Dimash however is different in that respect as he always changes it and makes it his own, it sounds like something you've never heard before. There are a lot of his performances that don't need a filter, but ive noticed it can be hit or miss depending on the copyright laws in different countries. I'd really love to see you react to War and Peace 2021 from the digital show. I don't think ive ever seen a reactor have to cover up that one?

He covers Hello by Lionel Ritchie in 2018. It is phenomenal. My heart will go on by Celine Dion in 2017. His accent was pretty thick in 2017 while singing in English. He actually only knew a few words of English in 2017. He learned the lyrics to English songs phonetically. However, by his performance of Hello in 2018, his English was greatly improved and I could understand every word. By the time he did Stranger in 2021, he could converse in English. He has sung so many songs in so many other languages that is baffles the mind. He is not only a musical genius, but very intelligent in so many other things. His neck must get tired carrying arould all that brain. 😂
