True, but it's also about the venue. He performs in the Kremlin here. You're supposed to act accordingly. They literally warn people there oftentimes that they need to be more reserved since it's televised. When it's a stadium where fans can stand in front of the stage and not a place where everyone is seated it's a whole different vibe.

Someone explained it more detailed in this comment section in response to comment of ”mary hynes” that has 10 responses. As in one of examples there - Ukrainians saw that same behavior of a foreigner as disrespectful and asked her to sit down, but as you said, I guess you wouldn't care and do it anyway ;)

Oh! Dimash has exactly the same voice singing live in concert if not stronger. High pitch, low, delicate, what ever he wants and intends to do at the particular time with his voice. He has the skills and talent to do it. I’ve seen him live to witness it!!!!! So, please don’t have any doubt that this song isn’t live. Great reaction, other than you having any reservation of this performance being sung live. Thank you, and please react to more. We dears love to listen and watch Dimash. He is truly a jewel vocalist and yes this performance is epic as well.

I've been to his concerts. This is really what he sounds like live. This is in the Kremlin, which is quite stiff upper lip, and Russian audiences are a little reserved. They do appreciate it even though it doesn't look like it and he knows the audiences in different countries.

Dimash is an incredible live singer - I saw him in concert in London two years ago, and he was absolutely mesmerising! He can do so many things with his voice that most singers wouldn’t be able even to attempt .. You’re right, it’s impossible to get tired of hearing him; he’s so versatile, he’s always got something new up his sleeve! P.S. I really like your reactions, but I do find it hard sometimes to hear what you’re saying over the music!

He is nominated to the Victoria music awards in Russia as Best Pop singer for this song. He has already won this award as best opera singer last year for another Igor's song, Ogni Pietra. We will know tomorrow is he wins again.

I think the word you were looking for is «modulation» or changing key and that's what is keeping happening in this piece since they're doing it 3-4 times in a row. And «crescendo» is when the sound is getting louder and the power of the voice is usually getting louder followed by the orchestral sound. Thanks. A.P. Quebec, Canada.

Most performances on Russian TV are lipsynced. Even Dimash's. He can sing exactly like this in concert, though, so it’s not a matter of him not being amazing. He’s just doing what’s required to perform in that country. When Dimash sings live he makes tiny hand gestures to help him find notes, so it’s a dead giveaway cause he’s not doing that here at all. Go look at anything from his DIGITAL CONCERT in early 2021-it’s all live and his hands are moving quite often. Great reaction!! A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿

thank you for your looks ladies, I stepped in and I subscribed. Regarding the public reaction, there is a context to take into account. It was not a solo concert but a preformance of 1 or 2 songs I do not remember. The scene was intended to accompany a russian high fashion show I believe. So there was a bit of a special guest audience, maybe jaded, I don't know. But as you've seen, there were Dears that just didn't slip in there and, quite simply, covered it with flowers. I don't know your tastes, but maybe the Dimash-Victor Ma (American-Chinese) duo singing M.J's "earth song" might please you. Thanks and greetings from France

YES IT WAS LIVE IN RUSSIA LOL and just for future notice if you see him with a MIC in hand ... ITS LIVE.. He only lip syncs for MV and he doesnt do well at it .... he has said in interviews that he would rather sing badly than have a mic in his hand and not sing at all... I think that crowd is full of PEOPLE WITH S.U.B. DISEASE LOL (stick up butt ) lmao

It's live but it has been compressed through post production for the television show so it sounds "too" perfect, if you know what I mean. There is a fan cam recording of this same performance where you can hear that rawness that makes him sound even better. I got to see him live last year in New York and it was the greatest (and fastest) 3 hours of my life. He does a variety of styles so not every performance shows off his range but he always sounds incredible. I am really enjoying your reactions. Subscribed 😊💕

@@thompson3410 There has been a lot of controversy about whether or not Dimash is singing live on different songs and this one in particular. Dimash’s fan base doesn’t take it lightly when people say this and at least one reactor stopped reacting to Dimash because of angry comments. There is a fancam of this performance where you can see that he is in fact singing live and that settled the issue, but there was a lot of controversy until that video surfaced.
