Hello , you may not like the genre , the classical , the opera , but Dimash 's great voice at the service of each song , as he sings with his soul , and always gives his 100 % , is something that no one can stop admitting . You must see the songs that Dimash sings in Kazakh, they are really wonderful.

That's the thing that a lot of the critics of Dimash don't realise when they accuse him of showing off, he does exactly what serves the song at the time. He's extremely generous when it comes to dueting with other artists. If he wasn't then there wouldn't be so many artists wanting to sing with him. He even entered the Shine Super Brothers show because he wanted to learn more about performing as part of a group. Even though he left the show early due to ill health he left having gained much respect and admiration from his peers, who ended up loving him as a brother and a friend along with acknowledging him as a musical genius, not only for his voice but for his technical knowledge in being able to take a difficult composition and overnight make it work for 6 different voices including a rapper and a comic actor who had never sung before.

TRUE STORY Lara Fabian, in a tv interview said they were rehearsing and at a pause Aida looked over and said Hey, if I have to run out for something, he can sing my part, and burst into laughter. Brought the house down !

Look at Igor’s face …it says it all! probably he was absolutely enchanted to have these amazing talents together and as a composer it was like the materialization of his music dreams, his beautiful compositions being performed by three astounding singers in a wonderful stage! Yes - Wow! Aida is one of the greatest Soprano's of our time. Such a stunningly beautiful voice and so skilled. Lara's classical training is evident in everything that she does and she, in common with Dimash, also works continuously on maintaining and expanding her skills and her repertoire. She was known across Europe as 'The Bell' for the ringing crystal clear brightness of her upper notes. It's not surprising that Dimash and Lara's timbre match here - but I think part of that perfect blend is that their vibrato's exactly match also. Gorgeous😍

This was a dream come true for Dimash…you can see the adoration in their eyes looking at one and another …aaaw. Lara was a bit unwell that day….Dimash and Igor was so nurturing and gentle with her…this was epic.

One of the (many!) things I love about Dimash is how he lets others shine when he sings with them. He could easily overpower anyone he accompanies but adjusts his voice to bring out the best in them. Great knowledgeable reaction too. 💗

I think Dimash is a very generous artist in many ways---to the song, the audience, and the artists he performs with. Particularly when it comes to singing with other artists, you can tell that he modified his own voice and tone to compliment them, as he does here with Aida and Lara each differently Thank you for the wonderful reaction to this performance!! You should react next to Dimash singing Samaltau, a song in Kazakh, his mother tongue. He sings a number of Kazakh folk songs and imo they are where his “soul” comes through most prominently-when you hear them you can really tell they mean a lot to him. Flies directly in the face of anyone who says he is a emotionless show off singer haha. If you like Dimash, hearing his performances of traditional Kazakh songs is a must. Let me add a few comments of mine: - as I said in another comment Lara was very sick and she delivered perfectly despite of this. Incredible! - Dimash not only used his fabulous lower register to give room for ladys to shine, he was gentleman ( and skilled) enough to slightly adapt his vibrato to melt better with both Aida and Lara - I always laugh to see him turning so fast to Lara: he was still singing with Aida but he could not hold it anymore. Singing with Lara was a childhood dream for him and this was his very first opportunity. See how he stare at her and hold her 😀 -I suspect Igor extended the last note more than normal as a kind of prank to his favorite singers. Look at the smile in his face 😂

Aida Garifulina got the Victoria Award as clasical singer many times. She´s actually a diva. Saying that Lara is a pop star is not diminishing her but describing her. Hers is a pop voice and has not equal. Perhaps in rock environment could be used that expression as derogative but it is not. I thought that since Michael Jackson that issue was left aside. Their great merit: to low down their egoes and surrender to the conducion of Igor, that´s how they achieve things as the great finel note in the same vibrato speed. Glorious!

Aida is a lyrical soprano. Dimash was locally trained in Opera and was offered a position at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan. He turned that invitation down in order to pursue his neoclassic/classic crossover style in order to pursue a different direction for his career. This performance was at a birthday jubilee for Igor Krutoy. All of the participants in the concert including Andrea bocelli are people that Igor has either written for, worked with or who have performed his work. Also at the same performance there is a duet between Dimash and Aida and Dimash takes the high note at the very end. You may be interested to know that there is also a video of Dimash and Andrea Bocelli messing around vocally backstage at this performance.

I will never get over Dimash changing his vibrato to match each woman he’s singing with. Never! He’s the ultimate duet partner!! Lara was very sick here, so Dimash is being extra watchful in case she needs the ‘cover’ of his voice. This was the first time he met his idol, Lara, and after this performance she went home and wrote Dimash a song called “YOUR LOVE”. What a stunning trio of voices they make ❤️🇨🇦 From this same performance, Dimash sings ULISSE with Aida-it’s stunning, too.

I am not an opera fan, and took ages to listen to this, but the more I listen to it the more I like it and appreciate it. Lara has been a big favourite for many years and I agree her and Dimash seem made to sing together. I also love the smile and pride shown by Igor having the three of them perform his composition. He doesn’t smile much on stage but he couldn’t help himself. The ice skating also was awesome. I am in Brisbane, where are you, fellow Aussie?

Hello, really enjoyed your reaction. Igor Krutoy (the pianist) is the composer of this song and several others that Dimash performs. Word is, that he came out of semi-retirement to compose for Dimash when he heard his remarkable vocal abilities. In an interview Dimash mentioned that Laura was one of his favorite singers when he was growing up and he had always dreamed of singing with her someday. You mentioned Dimash singing a low C in this performance, in his song Stranger (also written by Igor Krutoy,) he goes down to a C2 note at one point. Thanks again for a great reaction.
