The part of the song where you heard him crying in raspy pain was referring to his last performance in the "World's Best" competition. RuPaul ripped him to shreds in a foul and disrespectful way. Dimash was the people's choice as well as the audience and judges (including Rupaul) for Dimash's previous performances in this contest. But for his last performance he bowed out of the competition in favor of promoting the two children he ended up competing against. (Forfeiting the $1,000,000 prize). He told the organizers, he would be honored to accept the inclusion in this competition provided he would NOT have to compete against children. They agreed with his request. But it didn't turn out that way. It was Dimash against the two children. Rupaul really didhim dirty.
Was it confirmed anywhere? I personally think he wouldn't dwell on something like that and certainly, RuPaul is not worthy of dedicating a part of the song being referred to his rudeness and ignorance
I call him RudPaul because he was really nasty and rude to Dimash. I couldn't believe my ears when RudPaul harassed Dimash the way he did. And what he said. I became shocked that a celebrity like RudPaul even could say what he said. I was so very proud of Dimash because he was so calm and relaxed.
@@madiredefinedI agree. I doubt Dimash would waste one note on that show. I think it was just a passionate phrase in his song. To be honest, I don’t know what he was thinking but it was amazing. Bev
It was so sad that a few days after he released this he lost his beloved grandfather who raised him for the first years of his life and as his grandparents lived with the family was always an integral part of his life. Dimash was given an award at the major university in Malaysia the day before yesterday (his Malaysian concert was today) and he spoke of his grandfather saying that every day he quoted a phrase from Oscar Wilde to him that you can live how you want but don't forget that you will have to pay for it in the next life. His grandfather always taught him that you have to be grounded and not let fame go to your head and these are the lessons Dimash has lived by and will take with him for the rest of his life.
@debbiemorgan859 I know where Dimash said it, I meant that I would like to find the place that Oscar Wilde said it. I googled Oscar Wilde and put in the quote, hoping it would come up with something similar but it didn't.
I love this song. It made me cry but it really wasn’t a sad story. It’s about all the goals and dreams coming true for him through his life. Also showing the different steps and people who helped him reach those goals. He just spoke at a university in Malaysia and talked about what it means to have the support of his family and how much credit they get for him reaching this point in his life. He said someone may have a wonderful gift but without the support along the way, things don’t happen. He’s such a humble young man. He’s also an amazing example to young people on how to “be” in this world. Love your reactions and comments. Bev
He said this was a gift to his fans released on his 29th birthday he is the most humble man but I think sometimes we forget that he is also human and feels sad, feels responsibility to his fans etc. just love him
Dimash is one of the few people who understand that life is a test. He explained it in an interview. How he deals with his success is for him one part of it. That resonates in this song.
This is Dimash at his most vulnerable state. Raw and beautiful. He feels gratitude for where he is now but realizes that life has ups and downs and wishing he does not fall from grace someday. Love this song so so much. Thank you for your take on this.💕💕
I love this song despite the fact that I often sob my way through until the "raspy soft scream" part of the World's Best where my anger bubbles up every time and overwhelms my tears. 😢 My only other sad thought about this video is that he will likely never again experience the screaming crying fans with the level of devotion like the Chinese Dears. Westerners are rarely going to all dress in Dear headbands en masse like the Chinese.Too bad. I think those Chinese fans in their glowy headbands are so beautiful and moving and I am sure Dimash thought so too.🎶💐💜💐🎶 Great honest reaction ❤ 🥰 Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
Gift that Dimash gave us on his 29th birthday. Beautiful music, deep, emotional lyrics, a poetry!!! Outstanding performance!! Bravo Dimash, thanks Dimash!!!
It’s such a beautiful and touching video. The lyrics are gorgeous and deep and Dimash speaks from his heart and soul. I cry every time I see this video, not because the video is so sad, but because I keep realizing that Dimash is such a humble person who only expresses gratitude, joy and love for his life so far, but also afraid of disappointing those he loves. Who does that these days? And at that age too? What a great human being. He's worked so hard for it his whole life and despite his success he's remained so down to earth, incredibly nice to everyone and never acts like a star. He always makes us think about our own lives. He made us Dears this song and video for his 29th birthday on May 24th, 2023 as a thank you for the support and love as a gift. He wants to express his gratitude for the fact that life has been good for him so far and that he is grateful for what he has and what life could still (good) have in store for him. Gratitude for the love and support of his family, friends and of course his Dears. Of course, this can also be applied to the life of anyone who is grateful for life and does not always only see the negative and bad in his life and is only jealous of what the other person might have more, but is satisfied with what he has, of course, continued to try to make his dreams come true. This beautiful song needs no vocal acrobatics and no vocal analysis. We witness pure beauty. What a great song. He first met Jackie Chan in 2017 during the Singer Competition. There's a video of the song Autumn Strong where you can see that. Both are now good friends and I read that Dimash is also currently writing a song for a soundtrack for Jackie Chan's new film. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E_KJsN3g7eA.html Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song The Story Of One Sky there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. This means something🥰. He met David Foster in LA in Mai 2023 Love from Germany❤️
Dimash sings about his love for life and love for all the people who have helped him get to where he is today. The song was released on his birthday last month and is a thank you gift from him to his fans. Thank you so much for your absolutely wonderful response👍😊
I have the same sense about this song. It is an expression of gratitude but also a plea. Dimash has been absolutely one-track and dedicated - on a daily basis { from the age of 5 at least! } to get to where he is now, and that's no small accomplishment. But what has he sacrificed along the way? And now, aged 29, he still has big dreams and goals to reach, but this is often the age too for review, for reflection and pivoting to new things. In the midst of an adoring crowd there can still be loneliness. He talks about friendships that have come and gone, ponders where happiness might land, and says; ' Don't mistake me - I'm genuinely grateful' { ...but we hear a 'But' } We know that fame can be a burden as well as a blessing and it's worth remembering that Dimash is not your 'average' Great Artist and Celebrity, but is also a Cultural Ambassador for his country. He is the most Internationally prominent citizen Kazakhstan has ever had. He has to be mindful of his every step and misstep. And he has multitudes of fans, some of whom place him on crazy high pedestals and project impossible expectations; " Oh! Dimash is so good and pure and humble! He's like an Angel! A Saint!" NO he's NOT! He's a fallible human being just like everyone else. Where- in all this - is the 'wriggle room' to make mistakes, mess up? To make choices that challenge expectations? It will be interesting to see what new directions he takes. As for his fear that if he falls from the heights no-one will catch him... I think that's unlikely - don't you?!
Hola 👋 Romm!!
I really hope that people are not giving you a hard time, I have watched many of your Dimash reactions and you clearly appreciate Dimash. Now after watching your reaction, you completely felt the sadness, sorrow of this song, the visuals look amazing and happy, but the lyrics and his voice just so sad and lonely and worried. Beautiful reaction, as always. I Thank You ❤ It’s definitely not crazy, Dimash has brought us into his family and his world and we know how much his family means to him, it’s been a definite time of tears. We were crying when we saw this and just a few days after he released this, his grandfather passed, he wasn’t home with his family, it’s just so sad.
Aww thank you Janet! ❤ and yeah, even at the height of all that amazing success, he's just like all of us when experiencing loss and my heart hurt for him... thanks so much for your comment! ❤
Dimashed composed this beautiful song & wrote the lyrics (unusually). He dedicated this to his Dears for their love & support, but I'm sure it's for his family, teachers, friends & everybody who has loved & supported him through his journey. The song also touches on his concern that he may, one day, let his supporters down, which I'm sure he could never do! He has just had a concert in Malaysia, barely only a week since losing his beloved Papa (grandfather) who had a massive part of his upbringing, and his pain & grief was palable at times. How he got through it amazes me, but he is such an honourable young man & would not want to let anyone down. His thoughtfulness for others and his inner strength to do that is yet another reason to love him. He is just the most talented, most humble & lovely young man who truly cares for everybody & his love shines through everything he does. I wish him nothing be success & happiness for all of his life. I want to see him marry & become a father which, I'm sure, is one of his great desires. He would be an awesome father, just as his Papa & father have been to him. Thank you for your reaction & very insightful thoughts (you were spot on) 😊❤
👏🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏼👏🏿👏🏿👏🏻👏🎶🎶♥️♥️🇧🇷🇧🇷
I did an ugly cry the first few times I heard this. I absolutely love this song so much. He is such a private man and to share some of his inner feelings with his fans in appreciation is just so special.
Now he has a concert in Malaysia ( Kuala Lampur) ❤. How hard it is to be in a concert and perform after his grandfather passed away 😢but that shows what a men he is ,i am sure he respect & love his dears and didn' t want to cancel the concert❤😢
Really nice reaction to a song he wrote from the heart...this came out not long before he lost his beautiful Grandfather...it is such a beautiful song❤❤🇦🇺
What a lovely reflection on this beautiful, tender song! It’s the first time Dimash has written the lyrics to his own composition, so it’s truly a glimpse into his feelings ...
This song is probably the most personal he has composed. You can hear a vulnerability in his voice. This song is a hymn to life (omir) and he gave it to us as a gift on his 29th birthday on may 24. Imagine, it's his birthday and he's the one giving us a present 🥰 He is the most humble and down to earth artist I have ever seen. Dimash never takes anything for granted. That's why I love him so much. Thank you for this reaction.🙏🥰❤
Opening up his heart and allowing us in..what an amazing man he is. The Dears of the world understand his journey, we have watched his evolution to becoming a megastar. We love him and feel his pain, but admire his openness of sharing his view of life. Thank you once again for a great reaction. I am always happy to see you have released a new reaction to our Dimash!
@Room2703 Reacts…… Really enjoyed your insights, Luke, to this Dimash birthday gift to his Dears. He wrote the music and the lyrics. I feel as he is getting older, he is getting more insightful as well. He truly loves what he does but there is that ying and yang to fame. I felt a satisfaction from him for what he has accomplished but , then, also a sadness for the sacrifices he has made. This one made me cry and I needed to watch it several times to get the full impact. Thanks so much for your reaction! 💞💞
Omir Oter is a completely different song, its very beautiful and means Life is Short. Omir, Life, is about Dimash's deep feelings about his own life and was a gift to Dears in his birthday on 24th May this year, he is now 29 years old. If you take videos from Dimash's Official RU-vid channel, all have subtitles. To Dimash, he was bought up by his grandparents, so he has, in reality, lost his father ❤
Everyone has already expressed so well what this song is about. Your reaction was so genuine and heartfelt. Written in its entirity by Dimash in his own words. The song a gift for his dears, to say that he is so grateful for what he has and what he has acheived so far, but recognises that it couldnt have happened without the continued support of his beloved family and dears as well. The sad part for me is that he scared of making mistakes and disappointing us ♥️ At the end, the sand in the hour glass is still falling symbolising that his story is continuing...we cant wait to see what he brings us next 🥰 I am so glad that Dimash managed to get this released before his beloved grandfather (papa) passed. In Khazak traditional culture the first born son is "given" to the paternal grandparents to raise. His grandfather was actually more like a father to him 😭 I have watched Part 1 of the concert in London and am looking forward to Part 2. Thank you for your reactions 🥰 I mainly watch your Dimash reactions, but i do watch others too, you are always a pleasure to watch and so respectful to everyone🙏🥰
Dimash created the Masterpiece! Dimash is incomparable! Dimash is a genius. I have never heard anything so powerful ,so sad ,so beautiful,so emotional ,so inspiring and so dedicated ! thank you for your moving reaction ! hello from Ukraine, Odesa city. Glory to Ukraine !
As I'm 3 minutes into the reaction, I just wanna say, I saw that comment and I think the person (while having the right not to watch) was a bit harsh toward your honest mistake. I truly truly hope that it will not deter you from making more reactions! I watch every single Dimash reaction of yours and I am grateful for the time you take to deliver it to us!
That cry at the end of the song was at the moment when the video was showing that dreadful American show "World best" where they first lied to him that there were no children in the competition and when he quit because of that they crucified him for him noble principles. They also made fun of his traditional Kazakh clothing, which was so not cool😡. Sorry, it t still make me angry when I see the clips from that show. Your rection to Omir was really on point, thank you very much.🙏
Omir Oter (Life Passes) is a different song from Omir (Life). "Omir" means life, so it suits both videos. He does some amazing screams in his music video "The Story of One Sky". That one is heart wrenching; one of these days you need to watch it, but don't go in to it lightly.
✨OMIR 🇰🇿 LIFE✨ The best part of watching DQ reactions from this side is no makeup 😭 Of course that makes the puddle of tears much bigger. 😩💦💦💦 God Help Us. I’m changing To Handkerchiefs To Save The Trees 🌳 From 🦌😭💦 He’s still doing vocal exercises (3hr) everyday, plus the swimming (he could 🏊🏻♂️ in 🦌 tears 💦) to keep vocal strength. Plus all his commitments. I don’t think the Man has had the time ⏳ yet to find His Soul✨💞✨Mate. 🥺😭💦 That’s the biggest sacrifice He’s giving too the 🎶🌎🎶 He’s never been about the💰 I Wish Him OMIR Treasure’s ✨🤍💞🤍✨ 🤍2U&2ALLU🤍🦌🦌💫🌎🇺🇸 “Omir - It is a work whose melody and lyrics first emerged from my inner world. A piece of music on the occasion of my birthday. I dedicate it to all my listeners who encouraged me to stand against both the fierce waves on the water surface and the raging storm. This work is about my life.” DIMASH
For the issue of finding the correct video on Dimash’s channel, I suggest you just put ‘Dimash Qudaibergen + (name of song)’ in the search box. If it’s on his channel, it will have subtitles available, so you don’t need to add ‘subtitles’ in the search unless that performance is on another channel. For example, there are no videos of any of the Singer performances, so you need to look for versions with subtitles then ...
