Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there. Even though this isn't the Catholic Prayer version it still gets the message across beautifully

Honestly you could say operatic pop*. You can't really say he's all of those because that's not really how it works ngl. Otherwise, his music would be based around all of that. Sure, he can release music from different genres, but it doesn't mean that's his main one. But he's definitely a versatile vocalist. But I also won't argue against you saying he isn't an opera singer. He goes forcontemporary music

But I do like your suggestion that his music (at least a significant portion of it) could be called "operatic pop." I'm personally okay with referring to songs like "Olimpico" as "popera." Dimash himself refers to his music as "neo=classical."

@@jonny9597 I actually like "operatic pop" as an excellent description of his overall genre. He does have some purely opera songs and performances though: "Passion," "Brucia la Terra," (with Marat Aytimov), and "O Sole Mio," (with Andrea Bocelli) are three of them.

Hello. Dimash IS an opera singer. He was invited to join the Astana Opera, wich he refused because in opera you can't add other notes than what is supposed to be. He is clasical trainned and can sing as a baritone, tenor, soprano... but he also sings other genres of music like pop, jazz, rap! His highest note is a D8, wich is outside the piano, and you can listen in the Gakku concert with the song "Unforgetable Day" that he wrote. Dimash has performances in many genres, it looks like the last one you reacted to was “Together” which is a pop song written by his 16 year old brother. Maybe you aren’t a fan of his work that doesn’t involve crazy vocal acrobatics? If that’s all you are after, then stick to his neoclassical performances, because the pop and folk performances don’t usually showcase that. If you haven’t watched “Ikanaide” yet, I highly recommend it.

It is not ONE song: many composers used that prayer as lyrics for their compositions Most people thought this would be the traditional prayer but this is not the Franz Schubert´s Ave Maria, on Bach/Gounod´s, or Michael Lorenc´s or Ave Maria di Caccini. I know them well because I used to play them when I studied to play the piano. His singing this being a muslim in a country where there are almost no Christians would be completely misunderstood. Dimash did a new one composed by Igor Krutoy and I guess that it started to take form from that featuring in "Love is like a dream. It has not lyrics, it is magic using only one vowel and impressing on it the feeling of that prayer.
And important to stress that THIS Ave Maria is not a prayer to the mother of Jesus but rather an Ave Maria to unite us all regardless of religion or no religion at all.

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

Dimash doesn't stick to a genre, so I'm sure there are some people who don't like him in certain ones. (Some people are not that happy with his pop side.) He just announced a new song and video...and it looks like he might be a vampire. 😄 We are completely in the dark on this one.

DImash's highest note is a D8 off the piano. He also can sing a bass that sounds like it came from the bottom of the Marianna trench. He also sings in about 14 languages, plays every instrument imaginable, is an incredible actor, dancer, and storyteller, as well as being an ambassador for peace. This is my absolute favourite of his. Whether I am sad, stressed, anxious, afraid, or angry, “Amanat” lifts my soul, warms my heart,and makes me able to handle life again. I have heard many stories of people being cured by his voice (stopped from committing suicide, able to talk as an autistic person after years of not talking) and even though I am not a spiritual person and I have not experienced anything that impactful, this song still heals me in every possible way. Димаш как поет высокие так и очень низкие ноты. Занимается с 5 лет, плавает, играет в футбол, скачет на лошадях и тд. Он постоянно занимается у самых известных преподавателей музыки. Ему 29,диапазон 6,5октав(почти все пианино) , поет на 15 языках и играет на 7 инструментах, пишет песни, снимает клипы. Закончил муз академию по оперному и эстрадному пению.
