Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. I love this version not only for the unbelievable highest note, but for the love you can clearly see Dimash has for the Dears. This was the famous and record setting, I believe, for the highest note human produced. Yes a D8 which is off the piano 🎹. One reactor who was a vocal coach actually used a sound meter to confirm it. Yes. They call that a whistle tone, because Dimash basically whistled with his throat, and it wasn’t just he hits it and done. He sustained that note for whole 5 seconds. Dogs would be doing backflips and so are the dolphins. Dimash is simply amazing and one and only. ❤
Correction Dimash's note isn't in the Guinness World Record as highest... I can't remember the Chinese gentleman that holds that record but Guinness does says that this is likely the highest note hit in a live performance. I think Dimash's note is more pleasing than when I heard the note set for world record... Dimash doing glissando And Vibrato while the other guy was straight tone and barely hit an F8 frequency
Dimash loves his fans.. They are his "Dears". This is my favorite version. Dears prefer Gakku version, because that's the only performance where we are able to listen to Dimash singing the highest note we've ever heard from him, which is literally off of a 88 keys piano, a D8/Re8
Those high whistle notes are not guaranteed. In the Singer version, Dimash went for one and it didn't happen; he just waved his hand and continued with the song.
