Thank you, Room 2703, for your commentary, The melody of "Adagio" is 300 (three-hundred) years old, composed by the Italian Tommaso Albinoni, known as "Albinoni's Adagio" C minor, for organ and strings. The Belgian singer Lara Fabian wrote the current version and personified the musical term "agagio" (slowly, peacefully). Albinoni's Adagio is often considered the best piece of music ever written. There are dozens upon dozens of versions of it on RU-vid. I always listen to the London Philharmonic Orchestra's version.

Yes a Chinese competition between well established proffessional singers. Dimash was INVITED to take part. This was in 2017 (born in May 1994) He spoke no English or Chinese at this point, but learned the lyrics phenetically when given songs in those languages. He only had a week to learn the song and lyrics. Yes he speaks 4 languages, but sings in 15. This was his 1st time away from home. He is 28 at present (2022). He plays 7 instruments. Writes lyrics and composes music. He holds several degrees in certain genres. This year 2022 he attained his Doctorate in Music. Also, u mention opera. Dimash is fully trained ad an opera singer, and was actually invited to join his country's Opera House, but he declined, because he wanted to be free to explore and experiment in all genres. Cheers

I have to say that I relate to the woman in the audience who was having a spiritual experience during that lol I think I'd be doing the same if I heard that live 😅 I have watched the whole Singer 2017 competition and he blew it out of the water every performance except maybe 1.... it's available with English subtitles on you tube with episode #s He came in 2nd but that's because rules at the time were the winner had to be from China

His full concerts are on his RU-vid channel. He normally sings for around 3 hours. His concerts are absolutely amazing!

The next concert is in Kazakhstan on 23rd September but after the Mexican Dears managed to get him shown across 573 screens on the Mexican subway Dimash wrote to them on his Instagram telling them that he had seen them and if they wanted him he would be heading in their direction. The Almaty concert is promising to be epic and beyond anything we have ever seen before. On top of that Dimash has completed filming the MV for his own classical composition that was 3 years in the making and according to Dimash himself is the most expensive MV ever made. He's released a lot of exciting snippets that reveal the statements he made earlier this year that we haven't seen anything yet and the best is yet to come certainly weren't empty promises.

DEAR Luke.. Your reactions to our awesome Dimash put a smile on my face n joy in my heart.. ThankQ.. I have been a DEAR since 2017 and knew after a few performances that I needed to see him live.. After watching every performance available I found the original artist.. Then I watched videos about his childhood and family n fell in love with his beautiful mother Svetlana.. Then I started watching reaction videos which was something really new for me to do and enjoy.. While reading the comments I found out about his concert in London which is only a hours drive from my home in SE England.. I have never been so excited.. For two n a half hours I was in heaven.. I was blessed to be able to see Svetlana and Dimash from where I stood.. That experience touched my soul and put hope in my heart.. I was on a high for months.. The sound quality of the Singer performances are amazing so I was a little disappointed at the O2 London.. But when he performed Autumn Strong all was forgiven.. I wanted you to know Dimash didn't know English at all.Everything he sings apart from kazack and russian is done phonetically.even mandarín.He's trying to learn this language and English too of course.Possibly italian may be easier for him because of his opera lyrical education.Thank you for your enthusiastic reaction.

Yes, all those people watching back stage were DQ's "competitors" in the 2017 I AM SINGER comp. Love DQ so!!! ❤🌟💖 Can't wait until you do his LR cover "Hello". He performed it at the I AM SINGER in 2018 as a guest artist, not as a competitor. Just a friendly reminder, DQ has songs in which he does NOT use blow your mind vocals.....so.....just know he sings in so many styles and genres, and he uses his voice to serve the music, not to show off :) :) BEST!

I am told his concerts are more like 3 hours or more and he sings during most of it. He swims underwater nearly every day for breath control. I too would love to see him do a concert if only he came close enough to my country to get there.

I watched them a couple weeks ago but you would have to Google it as I don't have the link anymore. His newest concert is on September 23 and it will be filmed and possibly streamed by someone, so you can likely catch it online either as it happens or very shortly afterwards.

He is an exceptional singer and excels in martial arts and swimming. His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known crooner in Asia. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. He appears in front of crowds of hundreds of thousands of people and is known to give the proceeds to charity.
